Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 7: Dead of Night The Steelway Express thundered on through the sun’s last rays, and into the night. Their next stop was at Horne’s Peak, which wasn’t a mountain at all as much as it was a large, gently sloping hill. From the top of the hill, if the passengers squinted hard enough, they might’ve been able to locate Elendel, out in the great distance. And reaching Elendel meant… Freedom. Well, hopefully, at least. By the time they reached Elendel, they’d be able to leave this forsaken train, and finally make their way home. Unless crazy Gavin Gardre decided that they wouldn’t leave until every last Coinshot Clan member on board was assassinated. How would they even know when they were all dead, anyway? It was utter madness. Gavin picked up a lantern from beside the locomotive’s boiler, and headed back into the passenger car, where the remaining passengers had been relocated to. Gavin squinted his eyes and yawned. It had been a long day, that was for sure. And it still wasn’t even over. Not yet. Gavin coughed, and the lantern’s flame flickered. “So, you got any suspects for me?” Some of the passengers were nearly asleep by now, but others still had the energy at this hour to accuse each other. “Penga!” Old Wolf declared. The other passengers rolled their eyes. “Nobody agrees with you,” a grouchy Zane mumbled. “And anyway, it just has to be Neo. He’s been acting suspiciously for the past two or three stations, so should we just turn a blind eye to him now?” “Yes,” Neo protested, “because Doctor McNinja is one of them! You all saw how he helped to bandage up Grind’s wound! Why would he want to help out a Clan member?” “Maybe because I’m a doctor, and it’s my job to heal people?” said Doctor McNinja. “Is it your job to heal murderous, homicidal killers?” Neo continued, nearly poking McNinja in the nose. “Oh, please,” Penga frowned. “How was he to know that Grind was one of them? I didn’t see you make any accusations towards him!” Neo opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by Locke. “Also,” Locke protested, “ ‘Murderous, homicidal killer’ is extremely redundant. I will not stand for that sort of superfluousness.” Gavin rubbed his eyes, and held a hand up. “So, either Neo or McNinja, am I correct?” Most of the passengers nodded, though Nails and Old Wolf shook their heads. “Good,” Gavin said. As quickly as he had done the past several times, Gavin brought out his pistol and fired straight into Neo’s belly. “He was definitely a Coinshot Clan member,” Gavin said. “I caught a glimpse of him polishing his fancy pistol earlier.” “But… but if you knew,” Symmer protested, “why did you force us to go through all of this?” Gavin raised an eyebrow. “You never know what sort of information you’ll dig up this way. Now, if I’m correct, we should be expecting a visitor sometime soon.” As if on cue, a suit-wearing man blasted through the side doors of the passenger car, almost tripping up the steps. To nobody’s surprise, it was the same man who had killed Met-al and Grind earlier that day. The assassin pulled something out of his pocket and read it. Then, silently, he pulled out his pistol and pointed it straight at his head. The passengers, knowing what was about to happen, cleared the path. All except for Symmer. The bullet struck her in the neck, and she fell right on top of Neo. “Ooh…” the assassin whispered, walking backwards down the car’s steps, “I am an enigma! I move in silence, like the wind whispering through the breeze! Or, something like that. I flunked out of poetry in grade school. Anyway, see ya on the flip side, friends!” With that, the assassin hopped off The Steelway Express and into the darkness. To the passenger’s great relief, the Coinshot Clan appeared to make no move again. However, several of them began to wonder if they had just killed the last Clan member, and Gavin Gardre was simply trying to slaughter them all. He didn’t seem all too bright, with his senseless killing used to prove people’s innocence or guilt. But with that, the sleepy passengers headed through the night, nearing Elendel. Vote Tally: Neo (3): Zane Tevison, Locke, Penga Doctor McNinja (3): Symmer Ghetti, Nails, Neo Nails (1): Bortholemew the Blind Penga (1): Old Wolf Neo was lynched! He was a Coinshot Clan member! Symmer Ghetti was assassinated! She was a Passenger. There was no Coinshot Clan kill today! (By the way, lynching a player that was making the CC kill will also cancel the kill. Didn’t mention this last cycle, since it wasn’t a possibility, but now that it is, I felt like I should include this.) Station 7 begins now and will end in about 23 hours! There is no Assassin available today. Good luck! Player List- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 6: Nightfall It was just past sunset by the time the remaining passengers arrived at their next station, in the small town of Gasper’s Run. Contrasting the bustling evening activity in Vindiel-Cameux, Gasper’s Run was almost completely quiet and dark, shadowed from the sun. Crickets chirped in the tall grasses that overran the small town, which was, in truth, little more than a village. Gavin Gardre led the passengers down into a clearing by the town -- this wasn’t exactly a popular stop for locomotives. Grind hobbled down the steps last, wincing at the pain in the side of his ribcage. “You’re part of them,” Gavin spoke to Grind, just loud enough for everyone else to hear. Grind looked at the ground, offering no reply, which was all the proof Gavin needed. “Very well,” Gavin sighed. “According to our resident doctor, you’re likely to not survive to get back on my train, so you’re of no threat to us.” Gavin turned to the other passengers, who were mired in shadow. Now that it was nighttime, killing for the Coinshot Clan would be easier. They’d have to find the rest of the Clan soon, or they wouldn’t stand a chance if it came to a battle. “Who do you think is the most suspicious here?” “Dow,” Neo said unwaveringly, and many of the others nodded. Dow frowned, but said nothing. Perhaps he knew that he was outnumbered. “Dow?” Gavin asked. “You’re so sure of his guilt, this time?” Neo nodded slowly. “I… I think so. I mean, I’m almost certain.” Several of the others who had backed him nodded again. Gavin took in a breath, then turned to Grind. “Do you have anything to say about this issue?” Grind didn’t even react, still staring at the ground, blood dripping from his bandages. The poor man was suffering greatly now, but he had lead to some of their deaths, so… well, wasn’t it justified? Gavin ignored that moral dilemma and turned to face the more pressing one. “Looks like it’s Dow,” Gavin sighed. Barely wasting a second, Gavin aimed the gun at Dow’s shuddering body, and fired. The man fell with a thump onto the dirt below. Gavin knew whether the man was innocent or guilty before he hit the ground. “Fools,” Gavin muttered. “Do you know how many innocents you’ve let die today? The only guilty person we’ve found is Grind, and an assassin killed him. Or… well, he's not dead yet, but you know what I mean. There are still more Clan members out there. They’d never bring just two members aboard for this kind of raid… no, they’re still here.” Many of the passengers were unsure of Gavin’s proclamation as he herded them back into the car. And they were even more unsure as they noticed that none of them had been killed by the Coinshot Clan at that station. The Steelway Express rolled on into the night, leaving behind the corpses of Grind and Dow. Vote Tally: Dow (6): Symmer Ghetti, Locke, Everton Slade, Nails, Neo, Old Wolf Neo (2): Zane Tevison, Penga, Dow Nails (2): Bortholemew the Blind, Doctor McNinja Symmer Ghetti (1): Jain Dow was lynched! He was a Passenger. Grind has bled to death! He was a Coinshot Clan member! There was no Coinshot Clan kill today! (I just know that someone is going to ask me about this, so the lack of a kill, gameplay-wise, means that the Clan member making the kill did not make a kill at all, was kicked out of the Caboose, or was outside of the Vault Car and targeted a player inside the Vault Car. Also, Grind died after all actions, including kills, occurred.) Station 6 begins now and will end in about 23 and a half hours! There will be an Assassin available today. Good luck! Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 5: Boiling Point The temperature had somehow seemed to grow hotter later into the evening, however that was possible. The sun still hung just above the horizon as The Steelway Express pulled into its next stop: Vindiel-Cameux, another large town bustling with activity, even less than an hour before dusk. Restaurants flourished with activity, elegantly-dressed lords and ladies walking in and out with practically no heed to the summertime heat. In the hustle and bustle of the evening, there seemed an almost serene sense of order and refinement in what was going on in town. For the passengers remaining aboard The Steelway Express, this was not exactly the case. Several almost full-blown brawls developed between them before they even reached the station, arguments and insults being thrown every which way, but most of them directed towards Neo and Vindication. Gavin Gardre had to separate the passengers that were causing the most of a ruckus as they exited the train onto the large boarding platform. “Let’s take a moment to relax,” Gavin said, which was rather uncharacteristic of him. Then again, with what he had to deal with this afternoon, after the past several stations, perhaps that is just what the man needed. A time to relax. “We’ve reached the boiling point here, friends,” Gavin smiled, fanning his face with his hand to try and stop the incessant heat. “At this point, the Coinshot Clan won’t even need to do their work, because we’ll just tear each other apart. You’ve had the time to talk… or fight, maybe… it over, so we’re doing this democratically. There are two suspects I’ve heard spoken here: Vindication,” Gavin nodded to the woman, whose hair was mussed up from hours of argument, “and Neo,” Gavin acknowledged him as well. “Those of you who suspect Neo, raise your hand.” Four hands shot up, Vindication trying to reach up the highest. Gavin nodded. “Those of you who suspect Vindication, raise your hand.” Four hands were raised. A few of them gave curious glances, as if searching for someone. Counting over, Gavin realized that there were only 14 passengers present. Someone got kicked off in all the excitement? he wondered. He had to hope that it wasn’t one of the Clan members, trying to escape. “Well,” Gavin sighed, “there’s our dilemma, isn’t it?” Gavin paused. “You sir!” Gavin shouted, pointing over at Leif Erikeller. “I heard that you changed your opinion towards the end there, pal.” “You-- you heard that?” Leif asked, his face blanching. “I…” “What exactly was your reasoning there?” Gavin asked, cocking his head and leaning forward. Leif stuttered. “I… I wanted my voice to be heard… I did what she told me.” Gavin nodded, but spoke nothing. “I see.” Gavin looked down, contemplating. When he raised his head, he had a pistol pointed at Vindication’s skull. Vindication froze, shocked. Gavin fired the gun. Time seemed to slow as the bullet struck Vindication straight on the bridge of her nose, and she fell, dead, like the other seven that had died before her. “What-- why?” Leif asked. Gavin scowled. “Someone’s gotta make the choices here, kid. I can only hope that the one I just made was a good one. Search her. Look for anything she has with the insignia of four overlapping coins.” Several of the other passengers quickly went through Vindication’s belongings. All too soon, they knew the answer. Leif looked up from her, and shook his head. “She wasn’t one of them.” Gavin clenched his fists. “Get on the train,” he grumbled, and the passengers complied, lining up in front of the passenger car’s doors. There was suddenly a loud crash, and someone in the city yelled, “Wait! Wait for me!” The passengers looked to see who could’ve made that sound, and then the familiar wail of a gunshot rang out, striking Leif Erikeller in the back. Suddenly, all eyes were on him, rather than the person who had just been yelling. “So many dead…” Grind muttered. “Maybe we should start packing first aid kits,” Zane said, rolling his eyes. “Hey guys!” a voice shouted from behind. Everyone whirled around to see an assassin -- in fact, the same one that had sort-of-cleverly killed Met-al earlier today. “Sorry, Grind, but I’m gonna have to kill you. Terribly sorry!” The assassin picked up a pistol, pointed it directly at himself, and fired. The bullet went out the back of the pistol, as it had done with Met-al earlier, and struck the side of Grind’s ribcage. “Bad accuracy with this thing,” the assassin frowned, checking the pistol’s backwards barrel. “Oh well, your friend should be dead in about a minute from heavy internal bleeding. So, see ya guys later!” The assassin took off, and Grind immediately took something out of his pocket. “Well, what do you know?” he smirked. “Someone just gave me a medical kit. Could someone help me get this incredibly lethal wound patched?” Several of the passengers shrugged, and ran over to help cover his wound. “He’s probably got until the next station to live,” Doctor McNinja announced. “Wow, that is a terrifyingly specific timeframe,” Grind frowned. “Are you sure you’re a doctor?” “Of course I am,” Doctor McNinja said, barely a hint of laughter on his face. “Now let’s hop to it.” Vote Tally: Vindication (4): Jain, Grind, Everton Slade, Neo, Old Wolf Neo (4): Zane Tevison, Vindication, Leif Erikeller, Dow Grind (1): Locke Doctor McNinja (1): Bort Locke (1): Doctor McNinja Leif (1): Penga Vindication was lynched! She was a Passenger! Leif Erikeller was killed! He was also a Passenger! Grind was saved by a Medical Kit! He has 1 cycle left to live! Station 5 begins now, and will end in 22-and-a-half hours. There will be no Assassin today. Good luck!- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Here's Met-al's death scene. Hope you like it. After all of the hubbub with the last two deaths, the passengers turned on Met-al just before their departure. “Seixa wasn’t a Coinshot,” Vindication noted, “it must be him!” Met-al put his meaty hands up. “Met-al not know that Seixa was good guy! Seixa lied to us!” Everton Slade and Nails looked at Met-al suspiciously as well. “He’s surely big enough that he could he could easily hide a gun,” Nails said. “We should check him.” “NO!” Met-al shouted, ripping a seat up from its foundation on the passenger car and hurling it in Nails and Everton Slade’s direction. The two dove in opposite directions, barely missing the upholstered missile. “Conductor!” Vindication shouted. “We need you in here!” Met-al roared and pushed Vindication back, slamming her to the floor. “Met-al not think we need conductor!” Zane, Grind, and a few of the other men nearby rushed to try to subdue Met-al, but the big man swatted them away as if they were flies. Then, Met-al grabbed a table and hurled it at another group of clustered passengers. Bortholemew, Dow, and Penga all ducked behind a seat from the attack. Then, someone strode into the frantic passenger car, holding a briefcase and card in his hand, dressed in a dashing suit and tie. “Hold it!” he shouted. “Hold it! Uh, someone hired me to assassinate a certain… Met… al. Anyone know who that is?” Everyone stopped, except for Met-al, who swiped a large fist towards Leif Erikeller and Old Wolf, knocking both of them off their feet. The passengers that remained standing all pointed towards Met-al, who looked completely enraged. “Is that a koloss?” the assassin yelped. “Man, they never taught me how to deal with those things in training. Um, let me see here…” the assassin opened up his briefcase and took out a pistol. “Hmm… hopefully this will do.” The assassin closed his eyes and pulled the trigger, hoping that the bullet would end up hitting Met-al. The gun didn’t shoot. “Shoot!” the assassin cried. “It didn’t shoot! That doesn’t even…” the assassin didn’t get to finish as the full weight of Met-al crashed into him, blowing him into the back wall of the passenger car. “Ah, that hurt,” the assassin muttered. “Met-al not like being shot at!” Met-al roared, and grabbed the assassin’s gun, the pistol practically jumping straight out of his hand. Met-al pointed the gun at the assassin’s head, and pulled the trigger. Again, nothing happened. “Oh, oh, I see now!” the assassin said, looking at the gun. “I forgot to turn the safety off! Man, that is just so embarrassing that…” the assassin suddenly stopped as he heard Met-al flick the safety off. Met-al fired, only to find the bullet shot straight into his own skull. Met-al crashed to the floor of the car, shaking the entire cabin. “Ha!” the assassin yelled. “Ha ha! Backwards-firing pistol! Man, I’m such a genius. I should totally start marketing this thing. People would love it! Anyway, see you guys later!” With that, the eccentric assassin picked up his gun from the hulking corpse of Met-al, and literally leapt off of the passenger car.- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 4: Sidetracked (Many thanks to Phattemer, for writing his impending death scene.) Seixa grinned as he looked around the car. There were lots of nice people around, and some were even talking about cake! Suddenly he looked up. Someone was talking about him! “Oh Harmony…” he whispered to himself. Did they think he was a member of the Coinshot Clan? But Seixa had never fired a gun in his life! Of course, he had shot a few coins, but that was all behind him now. What was that man’s name? Ah, Grind! But why on Scadrial would he suspect Seixa of all people! “Excuse me, Grind?” He walked over to the heavyset man and took a seat. “Why do you think I could kill someone?” “Well… I mean, not necessarily kill someone yourself, you seem far too genteel and refined, not to mention stylish! But I heard you were hoarding money from that gambling game in the Passenger Car!” Seixa was shocked. “But that was to help everybody! Nobody lost, except the conductor!” “Ah, but some of us think you’re trying to hire that shady character who’s been floating around these parts.” “The assassin? I would never…” Seixa began, then stopped. Grind wasn’t interested in what he had to say. “Look everybody, here’s all the money I have! I didn’t get any more than anyone else!” Met-al leaned in a little closer. “Hmm! So if this and this add up, carry the five, subtract two… he’s lying! Everyone, he must be a Coinshot! Why else would he lie to us?” “But I wasn’t!” Seixa cut off with a gasp. More and more people were closing in. Some had their fists clenched, looking to enact revenge. “Wait! All we have is Met-al’s word! Did anyone do the math themselves?” some other person said. The mob shuffled their feet, and eventually turned toward Met-al. “No no no. He obviously used the extra coins to tell his fellow Coinshots what to do! Get him!” Met-al shouted, driven to a frenzy by the mob surrounding him. “Stop! There is no extra coins! Met-al is just bad at math! We shouldn’t lynch him though! Why not Nails!” The crowd turned. Nails was asleep in the corner. Met-al wasn’t having any of it. “CONDUCTOR! WE NEED A CONDUCTOR IN HERE!” he yelled, but the conductor was asleep too, and didn’t notice. Part of the crowd turned back. They were well and truly split now. Now someone was saying that they would hire the assassin, and make them do nothing. Nails woke with a start. “What! Where? Who? Me? No! I was asleep! Don’t kill me!” After hearing this, the crowd laughed, and almost everyone left him, to stand menacingly close to Seixa and Met-al. Seixa frowned. “I didn’t even want you to lynch him, and now it’s Met-al or me! Well I’m not a Coinshot, so let’s go get Met-al!” Quite a few of the crowd were now looking at Met-al appraisingly, but would it be enough? It seemed like more than half! Finally, the conductor walked in. “All right, settle down, settle down. EVERYONE TO A SEAT! NOW! Now, who thinks this here Seixa is a low-down dirty skulldugerrin’ Coinshot Clanner?” Many of them raised their hands. The conductor took names, writing them on an undersized notepad. “And how many for Met’al?” It was less. Seixa groaned. “Seixa, you’d better be coming with me.” Seixa was dismayed. But he wasn’t guilty! “Met-al. You’ll see. You’ll see when we’re done. You know what you’ve done. You’ll pay…. for a drink!” Seixa jerked free and gave everyone on the train a free drink, except the people who had voted for him. “Ha! You all will pay!” He then went with the conductor, quietly and sadly. Seixa would never see his six pet bunnies again. Not even the baby one. “On your knees!” The group in the train car paused. Had they done the right thing? It was too late to change their decision, anyway… The crack of a gunshot broke the silence. Maybe…. just maybe, he was a nice Coinshot? Then their hopes were dashed when the conductor walked back in. “Yup. He- was- clean!” After that, the passengers broke into a frenzy. “Impossible!” some exclaimed. “We’re doomed,” muttered others. “Life is over and I’ve never found inner peace!” “All is lost!” Then, among the cacophonous din, a second shot rang out in the confined cabin, and everyone turned to look at Senn Conrad-Tekiel, whose body was now limp, an expertly-aimed shot to the heart marking him dead. The crowd fell silent, as they had for the third time in their experience on The Steelway Express. “Wonderful,” Gavin Gardre muttered to himself, going back up to the front of the train, “just wonderful.” After all of the hubbub with the last two deaths, the passengers turned on Met-al just before their departure. Anyway, see you guys later!” With that, the eccentric assassin picked up his gun from the hulking corpse of Met-al, and literally leapt off of the passenger car. Vote Tally: Seixa (5): Jain, Grind, Locke, Penga, Old Wolf, Met-al Met-al (4): Seixa, Vindication, Everton Slade, Nails Bortholemew the Blind (1): Zane Locke (1): Symmer Ghetti Vindication (1): Senn Conrad-Tekiel Nails (1): Bortholemew the Blind Jain (1): Neo Penga (1): Leif Erikeller Doctor McNinja (1): Dow Seixa was lynched! He was a Passenger. Senn Conrad-Tekiel was killed! He was a Passenger too. Met-al was assassinated! He was also a Passenger. Station 4 begins now, and will end in 22 and a half hours. There will be another Assassin available today. Good luck!- 527 replies

Uh... I've just been counting whether a person's actually posted or not, rather than whether it is "relevant" (since that's somewhat ambiguous). I think that the only possibly irrelevant posts I've seen are stating that a player is going to be absent during a cycle, so I've decided to count them. (However, please do not try to abuse this in the future.)- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 3: Time of Doom The next stop was at Doriel, a large town, and the passengers found themselves on a busy platform as they were herded out of the car. “Well, at least he can’t shoot us here,” Mennet mumbled to Zane, who frowned and turned away from him. “Is that so?” Gavin boomed, projecting his voice at the crowd and raising an eyebrow at Mennet. Gavin was no tineye, but he had become good at lip-reading over the years. Many porters, merchants, and other people bustling around the boarding platform slowed and looked towards Gavin. “Then perhaps you wouldn’t mind showing us what is in your pockets?” “What do you mean?” Mennet protested. “I have nothing…” He stopped as Zane and Symmer Ghetti, the two closest to him, reached into his pockets and each pulled out a Sterrion. Many of the other people watching at the platform gasped. Gavin gave Mennet a hard stare. “It was… for… self-defense,” Mennet managed. The other passengers just blinked at him incredulously. One sidearm might make sense for self-defense, but two? “You’re right about one thing, Mennet,” Gavin sighed. “I’m not going to shoot you in such a public space. But those men,” Gavin gestured to a number of constables that were pushing their way to the front of the crowd, “I’d be more concerned about.” Mennet started cackling wildly, and pulled out an unnervingly large spike from his pocket (how had Zane and Symmer missed that?) and plunged it straight through his shirt, directly into his chest. Gavin raised an inquisitive eyebrow, and motioned for the constables to shoot. They did so, and Mennet fell, a shot to the head causing him to plunge onto the train tracks below. “Well,” Gavin said, looking slightly smug, “seems like we found one of them.” “Uh, erm, not exactly, sir,” one of the constables said, frowning. “That man was Mennet Farrsolin, correct?” “Yes,” Gavin said, narrowing his eyes. “I’m afraid that was my cousin, sir,” the constable said. Gavin blinked. Now that was an unfortunate twist of fate. “And I’m afraid that he’s always been overly paranoid like that. Carried a couple of Sterrions wherever he went.” “Well, why didn’t you say anything?” Gavin asked, incredulous. “Haven’t seen him in a while,” the constable said, looking down. “I didn’t recognize him at first. Rust and ruin, I could of stopped him from being shot. Why didn’t I recognize him?” “It isn’t your fault,” Gavin said, laying a hand on the man’s shoulder. “The Coinshot Clan has taken away one of our lives already, and now they’ve led to this death. I wouldn’t be surprised if…” A gunshot rang through the crowd, loud and true. In all the frenzy, nobody knew where it had come from, but in the next moment, a woman fell to the ground. “Miss Evyn! Miss Evyn!” several of the passengers yelled, pointing to the lady, who had a gunshot wound just above her heart. The passengers backed away, as if Miss Evyn would somehow get back up and claw at them. Gavin rushed towards her, seeing the young lady alive, but bleeding badly. She wouldn’t make it. “Mennet,” she moaned, “it’s him…” “You’re not thinking straight,” Gavin said. “He’s already dead. He wasn’t part of the clan.” At this, Miss Evyn’s face seemed to become grim, hardened against the world. “The time has come,” she mouthed, her eyes closing. “The time of doom…” Vote Tally: Mennet Farrsolin (3): Zane Tevison, Symmer Ghetti, Miss Evyn Met-al (2): Jain, Grind Seixa (2): Seixa, Bortholemew the Blind Locke (2): Neo, Mennet Farrsolin Penga (1): Senn Conrad-Tekiel Jain (1): Locke Vindication (1): Vindication Doctor McNinja (1): Everton Slade Neo (1): Doctor McNinja Nails (1): Nails Leif Erikeller (1): Leif Erikeller Dow (1): Dow Old Wolf (0): Old Wolf Mennet Farrsolin was lynched! He was a Passenger. Miss Evyn was killed! She was a Passenger as well. There is an Assassin available this cycle! Station 3 begins, and will end in just over 23 hours. Good luck! Also, rules update: From this station (Station 3) and onwards, you will not receive a coin for placing a vote on yourself. That is all.- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express

Yes, the Coinshot Clan members can send a single PM to the player that is currently making the kill. (Note that if the players sending these PMs are role-blocked, it doesn't do anything to their message, or the CC kill.) The killer will rotate in a repeating pattern between the Clan members (though the exact ordering of them is determined randomly at the start of the game). IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the relatively large number of clarifications I've received in PMs and in-thread (some of which are repeat clarifications), I've set up a google doc with the rules and game clarifications. If you have a question/clarification that has not yet been answered in there, you can put a comment somewhere on the doc, or ask it in here or your game PM, and I will add that clarification to the rules. Also, just over 2 hours left in the cycle. Get your actions and votes in!- 527 replies

The Medical Kit is not an item. There are no items in this game. When you purchase it, you must also declare who you are using it on, and that player will have their life extended by one turn (if they were attacked by an Assassin or Coinshot Clan member). You still pay the 3 coins even if the player wasn't attacked.- 527 replies

No, the Coinshot Clan can kill anyone in any car, other than those in the Vault (unless they themselves are in the Vault as well). Works the same for Assassination, Medical Kits, and Also, Medical Kits cannot be used on yourself. I don't think it's possible to perform first aid on yourself when you're suffering from fatal wounds.- 527 replies

Quick Fix Game 8: The Steelway Express
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Station 2: A Short Ride After arriving at the next station, Gavin ordered everyone off of the train, and onto the boarding platform. “I’ve expected results from you,” Gavin said, pacing before the twenty-two men and women on the platform. “What do you have for me?” What resulted afterwards was a verbal brawl of accusations, counter-arguments, and well-timed insults. In Met-al’s instance, in almost resulted in a physical argument against Grind, the poor worker nearly backing off of the platform to get away from the big man. “I seek Vindication!” Grind yelled, not realizing his pun. Several of the others on the platform rolled their eyes, before going back to accuse each other. “I heard you lurking about in the buffet car earlier!” “Yeah, well you made me tip you extra for those muffins! And who even calls that a muffin?” “Your breath stinks!” “I bet you haven’t bathed in days!” Gavin put his head in his hands and sighed. These were the people that would be his ticket to freedom? “Alright, stop, STOP!” Gavin yelled, causing the entire platform to freeze. Gavin looked over everyone on the platform, one by one. “When I stop talking,” Gavin said, his voice so cold it could freeze water, “I want you to calmly, orderly, tell me whom you suspect. This doesn’t need to be difficult, alright? Now, who is it that has sabotaged my train?” The formerly-riotous crowd stood frozen, unsure of what to do. What if they made a mistake? What would happen to them? Then, slowly, casually, the Silent Man extended a finger. Everyone turned to where he was pointing, and found the Pooh without a Name standing there, his eyes wide. “Him?” Gavin asked, looking between the quiet man and the nameless one. All eyes on him, the Silent Man nodded slowly. Gavin sucked in a breath. “Very well, bring him forward.” “WHAT!?” shrieked the Pooh, trying to wrestle out of the grip of Met-al, who had picked him up by his shirt from behind. The Pooh hung in the air, thrashing, kicking, and trying in every way to get down from the giant man who was choking him. “It’d be better if you didn’t thrash,” Gavin said, loading his pistol. “It hurts less, I’d imagine.” “It’s not… me… you’re… looking for!” the Pooh yelped between gasps. Then, suddenly, the man fell limp, unconscious. Met-al let the man go, and he crashed down onto the platform. “Wait!” a voice yelled from the distance. “Stop! What are you doing? It’s not him!” Unfortunately, either Gavin didn’t hear it, or he chose not to hear it, because he shot the unconscious Pooh in the gut. “No!” the voice continued yelling from afar, but Gavin paid it no heed. “Fools! He was innocent! You should’ve killed Mennet! I think that he is the one you’re after!” “Time to go,” Gavin said, suspiciously eyeing the passengers. “Get in.” As the passengers passed by their conductor, Gavin grabbed the Silent Man by his shirt and forced him to the ground. “You lied,” Gavin growled, not even attempting to keep his anger out of his breath. The Silent Man gulped, his eyes pleading at Gavin. “That either means you’re with the Clan, trying to mislead me, or you made a mistake. Unfortunately, I don’t make mistakes. You’d be best to keep that in mind.” With that, Gavin let go of the man’s shirt and boarded the train, after everyone else. The Silent Man pushed himself onto his feet, only to suddenly crumple to the ground. Gavin turned to the man, a large, bloody wound covering his forehead. So, Gavin thought, the Coinshot Clan are willing to kill to get what they want. This makes the situation more dire than anticipated. Gavin ordered the engineers to leave the station in a hurry, leaving the fallen bodies of the Pooh and the Silent Man on the boarding platform. Vote Tally The Pooh without a Name (3): Senn Conrad-Tekiel, Silent Man, Old Wolf Mennet Farrsolin (3): Zane Tevison, Miss Evyn, Locke, Bortholemew the Blind Leif Erikeller (2): Seixa, Penga Grind (2): Nails, Met-al Vindication (2): Grind, Dow Met-al (2): Mennet Farrsolin, Leif Erikeller Nails (1): Jain Dow (1): Symmer Ghetti Seixa (1): Doctor McNinja Bortolemew the Blind (1): Neo The Pooh without a Name was lynched!
