  1. Well that's basically the scariest thing ever. 0.0 Are you referring to the Disco Ending, the Table Ending, or another possibility that has yet to be posted?
  2. When any character gets shot at and you wonder why he doesn't Steelpush the bullets away.
  3. I want a canon meeting between them so badly. If only because Lightwards would crawl under his desk and cry for a very long time once he saw them together.
  4. Buy, but Wayne will be a kandra who's ingested his bones and has taken on some of his mannerisms.
  5. I'd lend you my copy of The Complete Encyclopedia of the Third Millennium, but my parole officer from the Legion of Time says it would cause a Level V paradox. What a worrywart.
  6. We need a lot of recruited Epics, because they're probably all going to die in the CorpseMaker battle.
  7. I bet Fortuity could have done it. I'll post a bio and probably a pony for Backtrack soon.
  8. I think we sort of established Psy-Fi as MIA. If he comes back later on, maybe we could have Psy-Fi dramatically return to Thoughttown and tell his story. I just realized that Lightwards is going to be even more irritated at Nighthound than he already is. Nighthound was sent to recrtuit or destroy ALL of the area's Epics, but Ray was all he came back with. Now it's known that Aldo, Cricket, Chicago Joe, and Backtrack were all present in the city, completely ignored by our favorite dinosaur-riding hound. Did he search just long enough to find the first Epic with a pretty face and then call it a day?
  9. We'll miss you! Thanks for writing such an awesome character.
  10. That sounds like a good way of doing it. We could use one of Voidus' Google Docs, maybe. And Voidus, she did warn you.
  11. Ham's in Dragonsteel?
  12. It would take a bit of coordination to make sure Backtrack visits Remington's old house at the same time Quota attacks... but yeah, I think it could work. Maybe that's how Backtrack works. When he stands in a location, he can see what people have walked across it before, and he can get a glimpse of what was going through their heads at the time. That would give a good opportunity to peer into Koschei's mind, thus imparting vital story information in a logical manner.
  13. "SHE'LL NEVER TELL!" "TELL YOUR MISTRESS THAT THERE'S NO ESCAPING THE EMPIRE'S REACH!" * tosses porcelain kitten out the window * I... actually, I just made up Backtrack on the spot. I might flesh out his abilities a little more, if I can get away with adding another new Epic to the Empire's ranks. Maybe he can get a sense of how where a person has been by looking at them, and if he physically backtracks their steps he can get visions of their past?
  14. Who wouldn't? Based on the lyrics of that song, I predict that Chicago Joe will wreak havoc on all our neatly arranged ships. Well then. It's time I introduce the Epic Backtrack, whose power is tracing the steps of an individual and instantly tracking their locations through life.
  15. That's what I expected, but she's unpredictable enough I thought it prudent to seek out an expert's opinion. The reason I ask is because it's perfectly in character for Lightwards to figure out everything he can about Funtimes' servants and attempt to hold their loved ones as leverage. He won't admit it, but he is terrified of her. He's just a few deaths away from filling his office with pictures of her with the words "WHAT IS HER WEAKNESS" scrawled across the biggest poster he can find. He desperately wants to control something--anything--that's close to her and can provide information about her. How will he get a hold on them? Well, I've already mentioned that Chicago Joe knows Sam already. He knows everyone in the neighborhood--and where their family lives.
  16. I've seen Steelhoof bleed.

  17. * reschedules all activities * Since this is a question thread, I'd like to ask another Epic question. Would Funtimes care if something one of her servants cared about--like, say, Revolution's commune--came into danger? Would she try to preserve their happiness, or is her interest so narrowly focused on them that she'd stand idly by as their old lives burned?
  18. o.0 0.0 I hope nobody has any projects to work on over the month of October, 'cuz I'm getting the feeling that none of us are going to get any sleep in that particular month.
  19. No. No, he isn't. I suspect that not even Joe can kill him off now, as any literary attempt to kill his character would result in unreadable typos or his computer crashing in the middle of writing. Cool! That will be interesting to see.
  20. Buy, simply because of how awesome that would be. Nalthian space stations will be Type IV BioChromatic Entities, self-aware and exuding black smoke as they orbit the planet. A government institution will be responsible for procuring Breaths for their continued operation.
  21. So could we secretly attach a bomb to an oblivious vanilla and have him wander around where he's likely to bump into Murphy? How indirect does an attempt on his life have to be?
  22. Yeah. It might be necessary to assassinate Murphy--somehow, some way--before the rest of the plan can be set into action.
  23. Um... What about the other elements of the concept? Anything salvageable?
  24. ...Once it's gone from "concept with a cool name" to "plan"? Here's what I have so far:
  25. Funtimes: blurring the line between romance and random insanity since Page 8.
