    I think we can all agree that Streetwise's Moral Event Horizon was realizing in his transcendent state that Red and Nighthound were going to cross paths, but not working his butt off to avert their meeting. I've added my two cents to the WMG page.

    We still have no precedent whatsoever for what the children of Epics are like. Is there a vague shadow-canon we'll follow for RP purposes? Will the child be born with powers, or will (s)he be a vanilla? Winter, what precisely does Red look like? How old is she, how grossly scabby is she, what sort of costume does she wear, etc. Just trying to make sure my mental image of her is precisely as disturbing as yours.

    Does Moral Guardian need therapy? Because I do after reading that. On the bright side, the little girl who survived will probably grow up to be a hardcore Action Girl who joins the Reckoners, and will possibly kill Timeport. So we've got that to look forward to.

    Well, the time has nearly arrived. Next Wednesday marks the official passing of the year 2014 Anno Domini. This year will never come again. Unless, of course, the universe does indeed follow a circular model of time. Or if a future supervillain invents some sort of chrono-ray that turns back history. But assuming that neither of these possibilities are in any way accurate, we must conclude that the past is behind us, and a bold new future is stretched out ahead of us. With this in mind, I'm taking my hand at the time-honored tradition of the New Years Resolution. Over the course of the year 2015 A.D., I intend to have made the following improvements to my life: To write more; To finish my labors quickly and efficiently without procrastination; To wake up early in the morning; To eat healthily; To have made other necessary character improvements without waiting till 2016; To have passed 10, 000 reputation points on the 17th Shard. Those are my goals. What about you lot? Got anything planned for the new years? Maybe read more quality literature? Lose some weight? Run for public office? Finally invent that chrono-ray you've been putting off?

    Granted. School will come to you, and your home will be permanently converted into a series of classrooms. I wish to no longer be prevented from enjoying Brandon Sanderson novels. (That, by the way, was the cruelest curse that could possibly be inflicted by one Sharder to another.)

    Aren't all Parshendi "asexual" when they're not in mateform? The Parshendi are not humans. As a race they have a wildly different view of sexuality than we do. Through all but a thin sliver of their lives, they have absolutely no interest in copulation. While in mateform they think of nothing else. We can call them asexual because that's the closest word we have to describe the Parshendi's take on sexuality. Calling an individual Parshendi asexual is like calling an individual lichen asexual. As a species, they are too different from us to easily separate them into categories.

    The Master has never been as creepy as Nighthound. Not even when he was a flashing skeleton that ate homeless people. When the Master gazed into the Untempered Schism, he was corrupted. If Nighthound gazed into it, all of time and space would be corrupted.

    I didn't think of that. (That should go on our Fridge Brilliance page. ) We still need "X is a Time Lord" and "Oregon is actually Purgatory" theories.

    Well, from what we've seen Seth was a slontze long before he was an Epic. Calamity didn't seem to corrupt him so much as it gave him the ability to act out the dark impulses in his heart. When even Moral Guardian stops scowling and looks on in shock at your villainy, you know you've taken a few wrong turns in life. I added to our official WMG page. (WMG pages have long been a guilty pleasure of mine. The first thing I do after seeing a new movie is check TV Tropes to read all of the wild mass guessing on the topic.)
