I want in on the fun! I still want to see Timeport losing to Fantomah, though.
-
Glad you like her! We'll see what mail-mi has to say about her. I found a few tutorials for drawing unicorn auras, but they're all written for programs I've never heard of.
-
Well, I tried for a while but this is the best Mark I I could manage. Here's her pony code, if anypony anybody wants to improve on my attempt: 1S4W002100D6B430A78A14011012E8AE6QO3634034000002Y06A4827FF7FFF16107F3FCC004CB2 Also, here's the result of my abominable attempt at creating a unicorn magic aura in Microsoft Paint:

I wonder how easy it would be to recolor a picture of Pinkie Pie on her unicycle while pasting the head of one of the Darth Vader ponies on the internet over her shoulders.
-
She's not on the Epics of Oregon thread either. ...Not that I'm one to talk. I still haven't added Sam and Revolution to my post.
-
Well someone's speaking from brutal personal experience again. Unrelated, but is there already an Angel Zoe Finch pony, or do I need to drop everything and rush to the creator?
-
Happy Chinese New Year! May the Year of the Goat bring prosperity to us all.
-
Yikes. Here's it just a day where too many people go shopping. Australia is intense.

I'll admit, I wasn't particularly fond of the latter books. (Don't spike me for saying so. ) But yes. Brandon Sanderson is brilliant at pulling twists and reveals on his readers. Uh oh. Voidus, when can we expect a "Black Friday" Epic?
-
If anyone could do it though, it would be Sanderson. (Did you read the whole Mistborn trilogy, or just the first one? Does the name "Ati" mean anything to you?) Backtrack's never met Metronome. If he had, he'd be too terrified to speak at all.
-
That's the worst part of Calamity. It gives awesome power, but the morality it takes is far more precious than what it gives in return. But yeah. Until his redemptive arc progresses further, Backtrack's most definitely a slontze, and I can see Team Funacid rightly viewing him as such.
-
Meanwhile Sam looks on in bewilderment before blurting "You're crying? Epics aren't allow to cry!" In ordinary cases Sam would quit picking on someone if she suspected she was actually hurting their feelings (especially if they cried about it.) With Backtrack though she'd make an exception, seeing as how he sold out her family and all.
-
"You don't understand. I was shot! In the arm!" "And I was strapped to a table for evisceration, after a professional career of seeing my friends strapped to tables and eviscerated. I think I still come out ahea... hold on, are you crying?"
-
Funtimes calls him a whiny poopie head, Sam calls him a slontze, Revolution shoots down his pathetic attempts at flirting and Remington tells him to man up. I think a Backtrack/Team Funacid meeting is long overdue.
-
Could she stomach listening to the recorded intel, though? 99% of it would be him crying and/or grumbling to himself about how much his life sucks. It might be a bit of a downer even for Funtimes.
-
Pretty much. In the event that Backtrack fails to retrieve his glasses before being dragged back to Portland, would Funtimes make him a new pair?
-
Who would have the most to put up with? Backtrack with Nighthound's creepiness, or Nighthound with Backtrack's incessant sobbing?
-
That makes sense. I think... if Backtrack were an established member of The Dalles City Guard--or a vanilla citizen, for that matter--Vondra would declare Nighthound an enemy and try to fight him off. With the current situation, and the fact that Backtrack doesn't actually hold a position in town, he'd agree to hand him over. The decision would be made easier by the fact that Backtrack won't actually request asylum, and will accompany Nighthound back to Portland of his own free will. (Wailing and crying the whole way, of course. )
-
I don't doubt he could. But would he? I can't imagine Nighthound going through a vanilla-run border checkpoint without slaughtering every vanilla in his vicinity. Which could escalate his involvement in the town politics pretty rapidly.
-
"But isn't your job to protect The Dalles, Mr. Mayor?" "Better to be a radioactive crater than to have Michael Jäger in our town limits. You can quote me on that." I still think Nighthound should be reserved for Ray and the Unicyclist to kill in unison. Anything else would be anticlimatic.
-
Don't know yet. Lightwards is short on manpower, so he might simply stew and fume internally about Backtrack's absence once he remembers him, but might not actually send anyone. Alternately, he might send Aldo with strict instructions to be there and back again in only a few hours. Depends on what's going on in The Dalles and how everyone feels about another short crossover between the two game threads. EDIT: Yikes, triple ninja'd. Nighthound would make more sense, but I'm afraid Vondra couldn't lay eyes on Nighthound without ordering Arsenal to initiate a nuclear strike on the town.
-
If Steelheart is an Epic Superman, I see no reason why an Epic Fantomah can't be brought in. Backtrack's going to get in a lot of trouble. He probably won't get a chance to actually go back to Portland until the game's next morning, and Lightwards ordered him to be back by evening or he'd send someone after him.

It's... beautiful. I would watch a Fantomah movie. I would watch the Calamity out of it.
