Oh sweet Celestia, that would be awesome! Of all modern authors there'd be none better suited to capturing Equestria in a literary form. His deft touch when it comes to intricate worldbuilding, deeply layered characters, and intriguing plot lines would revolutionize conceptions of MLP around the world, and the delighted squeals of bronies everywhere would rise in a deafening crescendo to rival even the noise of a sonic rainboom... * cough cough * Uh, I blame Quiver.

Since Epic DNA is altered by Calamity, it seems likely that is indeed permanent. Though we know little of how human DNA is altered by transforming into a pony and vice versa, and Equestria Girls passed up the opportunity to explore this and many other fascinating questions in favor of a cliche and nauseating high school plot. In any case, the existence of a Portland Epic capable of transporting others to other dimensions is... kind of terrifying.

Well, there was that time pony!Lightwards, pony!Nighthound, and pony!Funtimes took over the Third Diamond Dog Kingdom. Maybe in that universe Calamity managed to corrupt Celestia and Luna first?

Then I must carry out my duty. Also, something that occurred to me earlier: if Bill is described as a dream demon, and Calamity seems to draw on people's nightmares for inspiration, are they essentially the same type of creature? And would Princess Luna, being the guardian of dreams, be responsible for keeping both of them out of Equestria?

Huh. She knows about Big Al but hasn't met him, but she's met Lightwards, who has met him. And she also learned about Lightwards before she became an Epic. Our crossovers are beginning to form quite the web.

It's so thoughtful of the natural environment of Texas to constantly remind me of all my physical weaknesses. I mean, what would I do if I didn't have constant cactus thorns, mesquite scratches, and bug bites to remind me of the fragility of Man? Thanks a lot, Texas. On the bright side, little Bliss, who has been roaming the local woods for the past couple of days, finally came back to the house. Which is wonderful. -

Those are good questions. One outcome of this revelation is that the "David is an Epic" theory has been officially debunked, as neither Megan nor Mizzy make any mention of David suddenly looking like a pre-Calamity Epic.
