    Lightwards and his hat, Neverthere and Numnums... it'll be the best worst best double date of all time! Speaking of time, I was thinking about Backtrack's ability to both see into the past and quickly sort through it, and I realized that if he wanted to he could absorb every bit of information from the present day all the way back to the Big Bang. He could see the planets, the sun, the galaxy and the whole universe formed in an instant, as well as the mind and thoughts of every human and animal to have ever stood in his steps. This would both be the corruptive equivalent of Steelheart turning Chicago into steel, and would also drive him completely insane. For some reason I imagine he'd wind up sounding like the singing pony in this video.

    I'll keep that in mind if we ever do "What Happened in South America". Of course, Lightwards would probably die enough times that he'd be having an arsenic-filled tea party with a lizard and a cactus by the end of the game. And I already have an idea for the absolute, most-distant flashback. I just need an opportunity for it.

    That is true. Though on the bright side Backtrack and Game would have lived through this one, being in the back room at the time. Though Backtrack's sobbing might have given away their position.

    That Frostfire post... it's... it's... Alarming. (Though just for the record, Frostfire would have died shortly thereafter--if he'd attempted to take over the town. He probably wouldn't have survived his first encounter with Deathwish, and even if he did, Arsenal would have resorted to carpet bombing the entire block around the clinic. Of course, with everything else, the amount of chaos Frostfire would have wrought would probably lead to the city falling anyway by the end of the next evening. )
