  1. Gotta say I loved all of Adolin's duels in WoR. The differences between them all, the stances shown and even the politics behind them. Just some of the smartest writing I've seen. The fact that they even culminated in one of the most exciting moments of the series so far shows how cool they are. Plus, there was no "Swear an Ideal and therefore win the fight/battle". It was just three desperate men against four jerks with super weapons. It had betrayal (former friends of Adolin's). It had drama. It had some top dialogue (Dalinar's cry for help then "Honor is dead" from Kal). It had the start of a bromance. It had the lot. Also, these duels are where we learned so much about Adolin, Maya, his routines, his blade and plate...
  2. Sweet indeed. And also mildly spoilery. The French ones are also awesome. Look up "La Voie des Rois" on Amazon. There's one for Shallan and one for Kaladin and they're both epic.
  3. So, Feather, what you're saying is screw Shaladin... I couldn't agree with you more! Shadolin would be okay, though. Go Adolin! Wooo Hoooo...
  4. I live in the South West of France, in the Dordogne. But I'm English! Aha!
  5. You won't say pressure sucks when I've stuck you to a wall and you can't move.
  6. I don't know who said it but I agree that Jenet would be great with Kaladin. Go on Brandon, please.
  7. In so far as the leader's of the KR, or which order rules them, I don't think we can pin down one order exactly. I picture each Order being represented by one person and there being a sort of council. As we know the Windrunners have a sort of hierarchy already, along with some other orders, and I assume the orders that don't have a set hierarchy elect their representative.
  8. If you have the time, I would be honoured if someone could ask Brandon if there is anything significant about when Syl decides to become human sized, like she does in WoK before the battle of the Tower. Thanks!
  9. I personally think that the Broken One is Odium.
  10. I'm pretty sure that at the end od WoR, Teft mentions to Kaladin that he saw other members of Bridge Four glowing during the battle against the Parshendi. It was possibly one of the reasons that Skar and Drehy(?) were able to hold Adolin, in full Shardplate, from falling off the edge of the plateau. So I don't think that it's just Lopen, On the other hand (see my joke?), I could definitely see Lopen becoming part of a different Order of Knights Radiant.
  11. Argent, you're a genius. I can definetly see this being the truth.
  12. I see Adolin as a Dustbringer of Willshaper. Either way, I definitely think that Adolin is gonna be a Radiant.
  13. I now ship Kaladin/Lift. Thanks Pinpoint. Sanderson, make this happen. Even if he is about 7 years older than her...
  14. I definitely think this is very probable. Nice.
  15. Navani and Dalinar are dead. I've said it. BAM.
  16. The writer of the letter in WoR is Sazed. I don't know if this is confirmed or what, it's just my personal thoughts. The whole non-intervention/Harmony thing. C'mon. ?
  17. Well... I'd ship it. Plus Kaladin is a glowing lighteyed Knight Radiant hunk. What's not to lust after?
  18. Syladin. Hoooly shiiiiiiiii... Brandon, make it happen. Now.
  19. I'm also looking forward to Kaladin finally bringing a girl, even though it is Syl. . I also can't wait to see what happens to Adolin, who suddenly became one of my favourite characters and, in my opinion, one of the most interesting ones at the end of WoR (after... yeah...). Plus, Kaladin going manmode in Kholinar, maybe taking over the city, saving the Queen (who I imagine he hates, or will hate) etc.
  20. Brandon has mentioned that the characters that we recognize are basically Easter eggs but I hadn't connected the Breath thing at the beginning with Vasher. I can definitely see Vasher help Kaladin, even after all the help he gave him throughout all of WoR.
  21. Kalnah 4life . C'mon Brandon. Book 3 : Kal meets Jasnah, in Kholinar maybe?
  22. I hadn't really thought about the fact the Nalan wasn't actually leading some KR. I assumed that the "one order that didn't abandon mankind" was the Skybreakers but the more I think about it the more I think it was probably Taln's order. Oops...
  23. So Helaran is dead. It doesn't mean that the overall theory is wrong.
  24. My theory is that to become a Skybreaker, you must first die and then be revived (like what happened to Szeth). This could also mean that Helaran would be alive and might have even gotten himself killed on purpose in the hopes he would become one. It could also explain this in some small part : Please leave me your thoughts!
  25. Could the red lines connect the orders that were BFFs back in the day? Or rivals?
