Generally people just post a thread, taking a picture of the book at minimum. The true heroes also have a picture of their order/receipt, but usually we just trust that people aren't lying when it comes to questions.

A thought I'd had is that maybe they need to break/crush the gems in order to release the stormlight properly into the plants, so they may be destroying the gemhearts (and thus needing more) that way.

There’s a line in an Eshonai interlude in WoR that mentions using the gemhearts to feed stormlight into plants and make them grow faster, IIRC.

Thanks for the @. You'll want to look to x7 in the mondo-thread about these. The Rhythms are a more universal/constant thing, by my understanding, not some kind of multi-party bond between individual Parshendi. So here you're probably better off asking if the one inside the bubble perceives the Rhythm differently than the one outside, and how (maybe just a frequency change?). Here you'll probably want to be more specific about exactly what kind of "connection" you mean. Bubble anchoring probably uses connection, at the very least, and I doubt that's what you mean to talk about it.
