I am not sure if you can disable emoticons completely, as has already been said. As for #2, I could make the breadcrumb appear at the bottom, but editing the global template would put it on a lot more pages than just forums. We may do that. In the meantime, our mobile skin is very good (and free, but you already have Tapatalk ), and in upgrading to IPB 3.2, the mobile skin gets much better.
