Hi everyone, I’ve been deeply inspired by The Stormlight Archive and recently finished two oil paintings based on Shallan and Lift. These characters resonate with me on many levels, and I’ve tried to capture something of their inner life and energy through paint. I’m still learning portraiture, so these pieces are an exploration in my journey as a student of art as well . Oil on board 11X14

And defenintly not with that strong of a face. also i dimmed the color pallet because i think a lot of his external clothes like the cloak or overshirt would be a lot older so more faded. Oh dont die *revives with potatos*
