Channelknight Fadran Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Ayia leaned in close and whispered, "If you're gonna crash, then they give you a big flannel bag and tell you to jump out with it."

DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Queen let out a terrified half-whine 1
Quivil Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Tvora pops in to give Queen a hug Quote because chaos
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 "But the odds that you'll have to do that are... minimal."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Queen shuddered. "I'd rather the odds be none." Feeling slightly nauseous, she bent over, rested her head on her knees, closed her eyes and took some deep breaths, trying to calm herself. Queen, people fly on these safely every day. You'll be fine. Tchanta reasoned. Well, yes, but some people aren't safe so it's possible that I won't. Some people aren't safe climbing trees. Some people aren't safe traveling between worlds, galaxies, and universes. You of all people know that. But you keep doing that anyways. Queen sent Tchanta a mental grr, but silently admitted that her friend had been right. Her fears were foolish, especially without fear of other dangers. But that was far easier to realize than it was to change.
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Spoiler Sorry to double-post, but... @Channelknight Fadran @Spren of Kindness
Channelknight Fadran Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Quote I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!!!!!!! ... And I think we're waiting on Sprennie, if I'm being completely honest.
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Quote I also live! Nahl comes back to the car, a rather pleased expression on her face. "Let's go, folks, our ride awaits." Martin hops out of the car, using one hand to shade his eyes. "Don't tell me that's what I think it is." "Repatriated GA cargo carrier? You bet it is," Nahl says. "It's the only one that'll fit your whole group."
Channelknight Fadran Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 "'Big plane for lots of stuff,'" Ayia translated for Queen.
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Quote how did you know that I was googling "repatriated ga cargo carrier" in an attempt to figure out what the scud it was? Nothing clear came up, by the way :/ Queen shuddered, letting out a small whine.
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Quote GA is my own hastily thought-up acronym for Global Alliance, which now exists in this world. I have spoken. "Then let's get on board. The pilots are cleared?" Martin grabs his bag and does a quick head count. "Yeah. They're my own guys."
Channelknight Fadran Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Ayia grabbed Queen's wrist, giving it a reassuring--albeit tight--squeeze. "Seriously. Don't worry. I've got my Line and stuffs. We'll be fine."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Queen nodded once, squeezing her eyes shut. "How about you guide me and I don't have to look at all?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 "I wish that were an option, but these things are kinda difficult to board."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 "...okay." Queen forced her eyes open. "Can you keep holding onto me, though?"
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 The plane is the first thing since their arrival back on Earth that makes Martin feel like he never left. This is something he knows, and understands, despite it being GA and not ISC. "We're going to want to strap in for liftoff, yeah?" He asks as Nahl brushes by on her way towards the front.
Channelknight Fadran Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Ayia let Queen sit by the window, then herself at the side. Hopefully, letting Queen stay between herself and the wall would help.
Mat he/him Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Craven boarded eagerly, amazed at what he was seeing. Apparently this thing would get them where they wanted to go faster than walking? He didn’t know what to think about that. Craven liked walking. 1
