Not to defend Frustration but...

1: We still got the Hero and Vin did ascend

There will still be a contest, Taravangian would just try to make it void.

2: Out of 5000 pages there’s like 100 pages of fighting, not even

it’s a small amount

That's Brandon's style, his books are relatively slow until the climax.

Going to Odium after killing relies on him undoing OB. Surrender is him refusing to do something my problem, and suicide is out of the question simply due to the messaging.

I think he will undo OB because at the rift the one thing The Blackthorn wouldn’t do was kill a child and it would be a nice turn around if he did in book 5 and reverted

I disagree on point 2 but point 3 is valid

huge battle while the most calculating and manipulative being we know plays three dimnetional chess with the hero's rushing to stop what's happening in the background without violating the contract, while Dalinar fights on the foreground, and both of them needing to succed is anti-climactic?

What does Character  Development have to do with anything Dalinar already had his in OB.

That’s not going to happen.

They have 10 days and a boatload of stuff to do nobody is going to be trying to stop some loophole they don’t know exists

The contest(with out a loophole) will just be two people trying to kill each other.

And?

That implies that Taravangian's plans are different, and the missed possibilities part means that taravangians short term plans are going to be different since his foresight is currently incapable of seeing to far into the future.

Odium can see Axi, it would be unreasonable to assume he wouldn't know who died first

Renarin and Rlain would be messing with his shardic sight.

That is an intresting hypothetical I will give you that.

There are several ways for them to find out Hoid could realise why his perfect pitch is off, The Sibling could notice something happening(depending on the loophole)

Jasnah being smart etc.

If you say so.

Try re-reading OB there is so much it's AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Worked just fine for WoK, WoR and OB

I think Hoid will figure it out

Just to late

You know I think we’re getting somewhere here

Rayse couldn't see Dalinars meeting with Ishar because of Renarin.

The duel was only a minor part of the climax for OB, and it was only half of the climax for Wok and Wor.

That heavily implies that his champion, and strategy for the contest are going to be different. Not only that, he also believes that Rayse's mistake was accepting the contest.

This has many holes in it

1: Renarin wasn’t there so it shouldn’t have mattered

2: So you think Rayse was blind for the last 2 years?

3: This isn’t what Renarin does to Odium

You know that would make an intresting last chapter.

Hoid sat back watching the fight, What had happend to his perfect pitch two weeks ago? He used to be able to tell who had made each step but now he couldn't, he hadn't been able to tell since he had met Odium. Oh Sto- *insert Odium escpaing Roshar here*

It's fun when that happens

Source?

Yelig-nar was a lot more intresting and egaging than 'I am Unity"

Szeth vs Kal was the only climax I cared for in WoR

And what Climax was there other than Kal fighint to save Dalinar?

And this supports Child Champion how?

What prevented Rayse from seeing the confrontation?

Odium knew about it he just couldn’t hear what was said

Odium knew it happened but didn’t know what Ishar said

It supports the loophole theory, because it implies that Taravangian doesn't like the deal that Rayse and Dalinar made. Which means that Taravangian has the motivation for a loophole.

There are a lot of loophole theories, that doesn't support Child Champion in particular.

Well we already established that everyone thinks there will be a loophole the question is: What?

@Frustration doesn't believe in the loophole theory.

My point was that Taravangian is looking for a loophole.

I do believe there will be a loophole, just that Child Champion is not it.
