Wait. Why are you sending a new recruit there? Like, come on, even our most experienced agents rarely last a few days.

Before I joined the Ghostbloods, I could already Worldhop.

Regardless of a healing sphere, Threnody is a death trap.

*nods* it hardens some new recruits or maybe I thought Bean would benefit from it.

New rule proposal: Thaidakar is not allowed to send new recruits to Threnody without the approval of a quorum of experienced operatives. Only Ghostblood agents with at least one year of experience can be assigned to Threnody without that approval.

OH NO. *begins pacing* contact our allies, we need help, can you get them to come and help?

You want our allies to... help us pay our insurance bills? How about I talk to the insurance companies instead. If you promise not to send any new recruits to Threnody without the approval of other experienced ghostbloods, I think I can convince them to lower their rates to a semi-reasonable level.

Actually, while we're at it, the budget as a whole is kinda terrible right now. We should put someone else in charge of managing it. That way you can focus on the important stuff like ordering field agents and making plans to dominate the underworld.

Yeah, maybe we could. And I should probably go talk to those insurance guys before our vaults are completely empty.

Uh, so, @Thaidakar the Ghostblood, I have good news and bad news. The good news is I got the insurance company to agree to lower the rates to the same as they were initially. The bad news is that they want me to inform them of all Ghostblood activities so that they can evaluate the risks inherent in them.

NOOO. @Nameless that's terrible! tell them that "in loving memory of our first leader Kelsier Von Thaidakar the first we keep to his every rules, rule number one being keep to ourselves."

They're willing to keep all of the details of our operations completely secret. They're even prepared to have a Bondsmith make their oaths of secrecy completely binding.

really? now that's an interesting development, they have a bond smith as their friend. hmmm. Let's say yes, but say that I have to sign the contract, and they have a week to make up the papers, at the end of the week I will come to their building and I will sign, as well as give them the knowledge of our operations.

They already made up the papers, and I have them with me. As soon as you sign them, they want me to bring the papers to them and they'll make all the necessary arrangements within the day.
