flemistborn98 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Was listening to the 17th shard podcast about rosharan organizations and had a crazy theory about the envisagers the other day. So we know for sure there is a kandra worldhopper on roshar. So the theory is that a kandra goes to roshar around the time of the recreance and sees what happens and thinks that roshar needs these radiants or else humanity is doomed. So they go about it by starting the envisages, and sends people through these hellish tasks assuming that radiants are made like allomancers and snapping through traumatic events. Let me know what you think, its pretty crazy but i feel like its a possibility. 2
Bejarden he/him Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 I’m pretty sure the Envisagers were a break off of the sons of honor.
Morningtide she/her Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 I remember reading somewhere that the Envisagers split off of the Sons of Honor, but that theory has merit.

Fezzik Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Here: Spoiler Hessi's Ward Were the Sons of Honor a splinter group of the Envisagers? Brandon Sanderson RAFO, but let's just say you have the relationship backward. Hessi's Ward What about the Selay Envisagers Kaladin saw while flying with the storm? I mean... They're not exactly incorrect. The nahel bond is easier to form if your spiritweb has cracks in it, which trauma will create, so "snapping" someone CAN make it easier for them to become Radiant...
