Question

We know that the name axehound was derived from the human's language that was carried over from ashyn. That can only mean that who ever coined the term knew what a houd was. Leads us to two possiblities, either axehounds were alreadyon roshar before the humans came, or a person from shinovar, where ashyn speices stil flourished, saw a domesticated Proto-axehound and named it. So which is it?

Perhaps the axehounds were on Roshar when the humans came over from Ashyn, and someone named them then? (Perhaps you were already trying to say that, I'm half asleep so don't worry about it)

That would mean the singers were the ones to domesticated axehound the axehound, which is strange because we never saw any refrances to them in that context.

I’d suspect humans domesticated them. Humans will domesticate anything, if given the opportunity.
