[Fallapede]

Night's Blossom made her way to the pits, keeping herself upright mainly through sheer stubbornness. She slipped into the middle of a group of other slaves, trying to keep herself out of anyone's attention as she began to work. Once she was reasonably certain no one was paying attention to her, she exhaled deeply, expelling conscious thought as she tried to erase her presence from the world.

Then was silent for a long time.

"She..." Selil shook his head. "She was an angel."

"That was exactly why. I loved her; so I had to free her." Selil shook his head. "I'm the Dark Lord. I'm not fit for love."
