One recruited directly by Kelsier, back when he was working with the 17th Shard. His job is to lead the GBs to Ba-Ado-Mishram, which Shallan is going to conveniently find for them. He was probably also backup on the ‘capture Kalak’ mission. The GBs didn’t expect Shallan to be allowed in, but not her retinue.

But why would felt be there with dalinar before he went to cultivation he was just a drunk unimportant bright lord on a path of destruction the only thing notable about him was that he was the second in line for king of a country that has been unimportant for hundreds of years just wondering if felt was with dalinar before his trip to the old magic or he was recruited specifically for that

I also think he may have been a sleeper agent, sent to keep an eye on the royal family.

This mean lots of Fortune, this mean Futursight. Like Hoid knows where he has to be, but dont knows why, also Kel can know he need to have someone near Dalinar, without knowing why.

Last we saw of Kelsier, he was physically DEAD. As a Cognitive Shadow he has no ability to burn any metals. What reason do you have to think this has changed as of RoW? Also, regarding the great ambivalence many of us feel about Kelsier, Brandon feels it too: "Kelsier's got this dark edge to him where he could go villain very easily, depending on what’s going on with him. *pause* That’s kind of how I view Kelsier’s defining attribute, if channeled correctly he’s a great force for good, but he’s like right on the line." https://wob.coppermind.net/events/74-shadows-of-self-san-jose-signing/#e4312

What reason do you have to think this has changed as of RoW? Spoiler In Epilogue of Bands of Mourning Wax is given very specific Metalmind. Unkeyed copper one. In this Wax can see some memories of someone who is 99% Kelsier, alive, nailed to body (literaly, with Hemalurgic Spike) when he is helping to survive Southern Scadrians right after Catacendre. So he is kicking in Physical Body around 300 years. And he was able to make Bands, so he is also Feruchemist (yeah, it was him, not TLR).

AquaRegia he/him Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 @Bzhydack thanks, yeah, I definitely didn't have that all straight - I'm just finishing a reread of BoM now.

Ferrings werent thing that time, and memory clearly was made before he teaches Southerners usage of Feruchemy. He also need to gave them brassminds. So this mean at least two powers, and we know two powers mean every powers (at least he has more spikes, but we know only about one).

Maybe he only has brass and copper from spikes Spoiler I haven't read bands in forever is there a thread about his powers ?

Investiture contradict each other. It is possible only (for now) if someone allready has all powers. And lets be clear, Feruchemy is native to Terris. No way to find Feruchemists in the South naturaly, I think every feruchemical medalion in South is now just multiplicated with Excisors, and they dont have natural Ferruchemists born. Also, to make Bands another two or even three metals are required, Aluminum (Identity) Duralumin (Connection) and Nicrosil (Investiture). There is also F-Iron on-board. Bejarden he/him Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 (edited) But where would he get them from if he spikes himself to much it leaves him open to harmony to control him he definitely has access to allomancy ( spook) and maybe spook was also a ferchemist so maybe he had role the theory makes sense I just can't get over the overspiking and opening himself up to harmony Edited February 3, 2021 by Bejardin1250 Clarification on meaning

Does anyone really think Kelsier didn’t figure out that one? I mean, Feruchemy is of Preservation as much as it is of Ruin, perhaps moreso. And Kelsier learned enough about spikes to be very, very dangerous. But I do agree that he’d never open himself to Harmony’s control. 1 spike, maybe 2. Never three. 2 hours ago, Bzhydack said: Hide contents In Epilogue of Bands of Mourning Wax is given very specific Metalmind. Unkeyed copper one. As well as Kelsier being involved in the Bands creation and TLR not being involved at all. Note that he didn’t confirm Kelsier as being the sole creator of the Bands, just his involvement.
AquaRegia he/him Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Methinks we need a new topic for what Kelsier can and cannot do, and how we know. I'm just finishing a reread of BoM and OH BOY do some things make more sense now... yet there are still so many questions. 1
