Adilie rolled her eyes and said in a low voice "First, your supposed to be my sister. Second my room was already reserved and it's a one person room. And third I know I don't need to constantly tap my connection with you, otherwise the soother+nicroburst technique wouldn't really work."

She hadn't quite meant it that way (who knew if Harmony would even allow it, with all his goody-goody rust), but she'd roll with it. You used the openings given to you in a fight. Adilie turned pale. When she had accidentally taken over that kandra she had freaked out before she could do anything and the other kandras who had explained her how it worked had only mentioned the command part, but obviously that power was as monstrous as she had originally feared. Had they 'forgotten' that part because they wanted her to stop freaking out about her power or because they didn't trust her?...

Both, obviously. Adilie wouldn't have entrust that kind of power to anyone, not even herself.

Eryn reaches down and lifted the plug, causing the water to begin draining. As it did she opened the tap again, using the running water to rinse Zola off. To her amusement the child’s skin had become visibly lighter as the layers of dark dirt washed away.

Eryn nodded. When Zola was reasonably clean she reinserted the plug and added more soap flakes, allowing the tub to fill again. “Now we do hair.” She began scrubbing the shampoo and conditioner into Zola’s tangled and matted hair. “Will need to get brush and scissors,” Eryn noted. “Wait here; can play with bubbles.”

@Lecky Twig If you want you can talk to our boss while Eryn bathes Zola.
