Drae shifted his stance uncomfortably "Can I let him go? I feel dirty having him like this." He gestured profusely at the pacified Raven.

Eryn nodded. “May. Done well.”

Zola sighed heavily. "All right."

As they waited, Ladashwy started to feel surges of panic. After a few minutes Ladashwy got up. "I can't take this anymore! Rusts, I feel like I am going to go insane. Why don't we do look for Eryn?" There was a hint of desperation in her voice. If I have to keep sitting here, I will have a nervous breakdown.

"I can't remember if she especially told us to stay here."

"Zola. I am going to have a nervous breakdown if we don't start doing something. We NEED to start doing something. My sanity depends on it." She felt extremely desperate at this point. She didn't know how to handle the feelings of panic or the intense guilt she felt for killing the man.

"Okay, let's go look."

"Thank you." Ladashwy moved toward the door, and looked out. She flared her tin, trying to figure out where Eryn was. She heard Eryn's voice. "Let's head that way. I think Eryn is over there."

Adiline smiled at Zola "Hiiiiii to you too. How is going on the other end of the battle? On this one Drae took care of Raven, apparently he was betrayed by an 'allied' from the underground."

"Ladashwy's back! She wanted to chase the guy down, but I was responsible so we came to find you."

"Yeah, I can understand that. Anyway we're safe now, we'll have to remove the spike that guy put in Raven but Eryn's already on that. And Marie will take care of the other enemies"

Eryn nodded. “Not so easy remove spike. Good we have this,” she raised the one in her hand, “but need make metalmind first. He is free now, so we keep with us.”

Is this room more than twenty meters away from where we were before, and did the order to stop people take precedence over the staying within that boundary?

I assuming Raven didn't go very far.

But yes to the other one?  Perhaps Marie could find some new people we need to loop into the plot?

Probably not, and you've already finished it, didn't you?

Finished the fight, yeah, meaning Marie can now presumably do whatever as long as it doesn't contradict her previous orders; she doesn't have to stop at stopping those few people

Technically she was not ordered to stop them but authorised, so she was already authorised to do that. And unless you mean she can still kick them while they're unconscious, she has to stop at stopping those few people

All right.

Fuzz: "the lives of men are not your toys" Marie: "bet"

The woman was surprisingly good at not reacting to Marie's prodding, and she soon grew bored and knocked her out so as to only focus on one subject. The remaining man, a Coinshot, broke far too easily under her care, and she found herself wishing he hadn't. If he'd lasted longer it would have been much more fun. Probably. It had been a while since she'd gotten the chance to mess around like this...it occurred to her that Harmony might decide to remove her from the group after all if he thought Adilie wasn't keeping a tight enough handle on her. Did Marie want that? It would mean both more and less freedom; she'd never be allowed to roam this close to humans with her own will when this was over, but she would otherwise be able to go where she wanted and do what she wanted.

Her gaze tripped around the room as she struggled through her thoughts. Across the tables, down the benches, lingering on the potted ferns near the doors. Those needed a bit more water. Finally she sighed and stood up, shucking off the tablecloth she'd wrapped around herself to stay clean of blood, then smiled prettily at the Coinshot and told him to stay put. He didn't have much of a choice - it was hard to walk with severed tendons - but it made her feel good to be the one giving orders for once.

She followed the others down the hall, noting Ladashwy and Zola at the back. Aside from that strange message whispered into her mind, these two seemed the most likely to potentially help Marie. She said nothing yet, leaning against the wall.

Ladashwy noticed Marie. She has some of those spike things. I wonder how many people had to die, like the man... No. I...I'll think about this later. She pushed away the thoughts of the person she killed and grabbed the notebook on places. Her hands shook slightly. Breathe Ladashwy. She told herself. Just breathe.
