According to his calculations, the next Highstorm would be coming soon. Of course he wasn’t too hopeful. Sometimes Sophos wondered how he managed to become a Stormwarden in the first place. His journey to First of the Sun had been relaxing, but certainly hadn’t helped his math at all. Gradually, the sky to the west began to darken, and a storm wall emerged from the horizon. Once Sophos noticed, he was elated. Finally, a correct prediction! I’d wager I’m the first stormwarden to accurately predict a highstorm since things got confused. In all of my forms I forgot about this! I think that if Ultimate preservation could be used now then that would be nice. Basically this day feels like it should be an extension of sorts for D6. Like, D6 but we get a daykill in midday. and...it's for some reason extended 48 hours :P. If we skipped the night then we wouldn't have to worry about potentially losing another (4 people were attacked, right O.o) few people, at least 2. I've only said barely two sentences and I already don't know if you can understand my thoughts... This day is...basically useless imo. the only thing it's good for is getting rid of ostrich so we can think better. I think there is the argument that Ultimate Preservation might be better to save for a E/lo situation (if we get there), but imo, if we wait too long, then Preservation might end up being Shattered or removed before that can happen. or they could be roleblocked. or or or yeah there's a whole bunch of things that could go wrong ya know? so why not live life as it is and use abilities as they're here instead of waiting for a rainy day that you might not even be alive for Ramble ramble. maybe this'll help? - Spoiler But what if we get to El/o and Pres could save us then! - Er, well there's no guaranteeing that they're going to be alive/unshattered. :/. sads. - Also the Elims might be able to RB them or whatnot, ya know? - And even if that happens...there's...no guarantee we'd survive past that. Maybe mechanically it does, with people getting confirmed on flip, but the people left alive until the end are more likely going to be the more inactive folks, and that's going to make anywhere nearer to E/lo harder to survive :/.
