Ooooo I like this idea. I don’t think we know the number of petals, or if we do, it isn’t in the Coppermind article. Kel has always used the flower as a symbol, makes sense for him to literally make it a symbol now.

It certainly seems possible he'd do that. It also looks like a cool as hell symbol abstracted like it is so that's a plus.

I wonder does Mare play any sort of role in Surivorism?

They seem to venerate all the crew members (and Elend) with titles like “Counselor of Gods” and “The Last Emperor” and stuff, but I don’t actually recall seeing one for Mare.

Im thinking on using a marewill flower in a tattoo soon but after searching i cant decide which flower resemble the most. If you ever thought about it which would be your decision?

There’s a canon design forthcoming at some point soon. It became important enough to make something of it.

General Reddit 2022 (Jan. 14, 2022)

This would be a plausible reason for why it "became important enough", because the Marewill flower has not become more important at all. But obviously, the Ghostbloods have.

I imagine we can expect answers in Lost Metal . . .

Exactly!! Also, it makes sense because in Era 1 the Marewill flower drawing is de facto Kelsier's crew logo.

Either that, or our questions led Dragonsteel to go ‘hmmm…that could work…’ Making this ascended fanon.

Sweet! Sounds like I had a good guess and it fits!

Where's that image from? I can 't find it online.

I saw it days ago in Macmillan, and today it was also in the Weekly Update video that Brandon always uploads to YT.

The second I saw the flower design I realized how close it looked to the Ghostblood symbol. It is such a fitting touch and brings such a deeper meaning to logo. Especially since people gotta get it tattooed onto them. I am sure there is so much more meaning to it now.

Mare and Clubs are conspicuously absent. Dox gets one mention on the Basin map (Doxonar) - otherwise it is mostly crew from HoA that faced Ruin and/or survived the Catacendre.

I also wish Goradel had gotten a nod on the maps or in the lore - talk about the forgotten lynchpin. . .
