"Well done!" says Rekaerb, handing her the gemstones that had been the golem's eyes.

Breathing hard, she waves him away. "Not now, just shut up you..."

"You know," said Rekaerb, "they might be able to manipulate the stone. Trylle is still trapped down there..."

"Just go and do it already, then!"

"Ah," said Rekaerb. "Yeah, I can see why."

Rekaerb leaned down and pressed the stones into the ground. The stone split open, releasing Trylle.

"Ah," said Rekaerb. "About that." He cleared his throat. "There... does not seem to be any library. Anywhere."

"So we can't look for a way out of here? Vazey world."

"Thanks." She brings them up to eye level, inspecting them carefully, and can find no reason for them to be vibrating.

The stones flash. Once. Twice.

Suddenly, a voice begins to emanate from them.

"-hello, hello? Are you receiving me?"

Trylle frowns. "Hello?" In reality she's already gone through all of the possibilities in her head and has concluded that the information they'll get from this - even if it's false - will be most useful.
