Hey everyone. I’m a long time Coppermind reader. Sanderson fan since I read Way of Kings in 2012. Finally making the leap and joining this community. As challenging as this year has been, it’s a great year to be a fan of the Cosmere. We are getting so much published work and so many goodies this year, it’s so exciting!

You can call me Fallohidden, Fallo, or as you’ll see me on the discord server: Brightness.

I’ve been enjoying shardcasts while I’ve been in quarantine, so big thanks to 17th Shard for great content.

Other imperative information about me: I am an Edgedancer.

Hi!!! Super great to meet you!!!!

Which Sanderson character (Cosmere or otherwise) do you think is most like you and why?

Hi to both of you! I’m definitely looking forward to Dawnshard. Also looking forward to the WoK leather bounds.

Oh the characters I relate to are numerous. I am one of those people that sees myself in any character on-screen haha. I was Shallan at one point in life, Kaladin in another, and I’m definitely going through a redemption-arc-Dalinar-phase, hahaha

But mostly I’m like Stick because I don’t like change!

Hello, and Welcome to the Shard!

What's your favorite book series?

Hello and thank you! Favorite book series, I’m going to be generic and say Stormlight. Also, Lord of the Rings. I’m really easy to please haha.

Welcome! What's your favorite idea or quote that you've seen?

Favorite quote hit me in The Emperor’s Soul:

“There was rarely an obvious branching point in a person's life. People changed slowly, over time. You didn't take one step, then find yourself in a completely new location. You first took a little step off a path to avoid some rocks. For a while, you walked alongside the path, but then you wandered out a little way to step on softer soil. Then you stopped paying attention as you drifted farther and farther away. Finally, you found yourself in the wrong city, wondering why the signs on the roadway hadn't led you better.”

Man, this is just so true of real life.

Welcome to the Shard! Hope you didn't fall!... when you leapt..... to join the Shard... ok yeah moving on

So happy you decided to come join us! There is never a bad time to join the Shard and absolutely considering how this year is going the time has never been better. Look forward to seeing you around!

And very nice quote! Kinda makes you think about all the little decisions in your life and where they are leading you and all the things you are branching away from...
