Respectfully disagree….

Yeah the bugs and the heat are very mid, but I love the ‘feel’ of the state. Texas doesn’t feel stressed or anxious and I like that.

Mm. Maybe if you’re in the Austin Metropolitan area, as I am.

Everywhere else I think it’d be stressful. At least politically. Or maybe not, idk.

It does have a certain comfort to it though, doesn’t it?

Nah I’m in DFW. Austin feels a little stressed to me simply because it’s VERY urban. It feels crammed to me, and anything that looks dirty is amplified since there’s less space. 

But DFW is open enough that it feels calm and has enough stuff where you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere

I'd recommend Alaska. 

I used to be a Texan, and I like Alaska a good deal more.
