Does anyone know exactly who this is? I was just reading WoR and Rock had just shooed away a lanky ardent with a sketchpad, and i recall earlier in WoR or WoK, a illustration from nazh of the Bridge 4 forehead tattoos, glyph, and Kaladins brands. Is the ardent Rock shooed away Nazh

Yep. He's a Cosmere crossover, kind of like Hoid. If you want I can tell you where you can find him in other places.

I wondered if he was like a Hoid type character. And yes I would love to know where else I can find him

Mistborn SH is the main one, I don't know if he's anywhere else.

I have not yet read Mistborn SH, but I will try to get my hands on it

It'd be in Arcanum Unbounded if you can find that, it might have a separate book but I've never seen it.

It does! I love the Kelsier coverart

He is a mapmaker and scholar.  He works for/with someone who you will encounter in the future.  Brandon has described him as a grumpy James Bond.

@Karger For bonus points, not only does Brandon describe him that way but Isaac tells us his accent would sound somewhat Scottish to us. And apparently he looks like a young Peter Capaldi. I suppose that being a Time Lord would explain a lot about Nazh... :D

He shows up twice in the broadsheets in Bands of Mourning albeit indirectly. There's an advertisement about talking metal that directs people to contact 'K or N', so the pair is clearly doing some sort of research during the events of the book. More obviously, the Nicki Savage story has her encounter the 'Haunted Man' who is Nazh. Oh, and Hoid shows up in that one too...

Nazh also appears indirectly as the person writing annotations on so much of the interior artwork. For example, he gripes about the cartographic inadequacies of the maps of Opelon/Sycla and Elendel, he's the one who recovered Shallan's sketches from the bottom of the sea, wrote the entirety of the explanation on Rosharan glyphs in Oathbringer etc.
