Honorless he/him Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 (edited) Most of the meat available on Roshar are Soulcast meat, called flangria, which is said to taste bland. Some people have wondered if the bland taste comes from meat and tallow (which might include fat) being separate Essences. Rosharans find every kind of non-Soulcast, non seafood meat a delicacy. Shinovar's major exports are chickens after all (mostly actual chickens, presumably) and trading with Shinovar is considered by Vstim, Rysn's Babsk, to be quite profitable. Shinovar's own society ranks farmers quite highly, for mostly cultural reasons, but the economic reasons probably do help it along. Edited July 15, 2020 by Honorless 1
