Her bronze was still burning, and she was drawing the feruchemical power out of it. Why isn't she doing anything? She ran forward, trying a feint. Quote Oh. I thought she was a mistborn Ayia leaped off her staff, deStabilizing it and pulling it with her in a way that kinda broke the third law of physics. She hit the ground at a roll and started running in an arc around Camelia.
Mat he/him Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) Craven's eyes grew wider with every movement. He hadn't known such powers existed; until this morning the most impressive thing he had heard of was a throwaway sentence about someone named Nath! Edited March 29, 2021 by Matrim's Dice

Although, she can't currently use said Shardblade. She also has a jar of sand from Taldain's Dayside (although she can't use it). She really wants to get a Seon. Camelia ran at her, rapier out. She was doing something that Vasher had taught her to do. She'd simultaneously attack with her rapier and use her other sleeve to grab at her opponent's weapon.

She watched and waited for an opening, studying what kind of patterns the kid was employing.

Become as my legs, and give them strength." Cloth wrapped around her feet, allowing her to move faster. If this were against an enemy, I'd grab the shirt, and awaken it. Or soulcast. But it isn't. She sighed. "You know, I'd have more options if you were an enemy." She said, frustrated.

He's one of the 5 scholars. But the point of this isn't for me to win, it's to show him some of what can be done with awakening." She said, nodding her head to Craven. She then rushed forward, trying to catch Ayia of gaurd. She was still trying to grab at the weapon with her awakened sleeve, and attack with her rapier.

She attacked, using her sleeve and rapier simultaneously as described above.

It's always good to have a few tricks up your sleeve. You never know. The teacher I mentioned earlier once won a fight because he transferred his breath to his opponent, leaving him defenseless for a moment. A smart person will use everything they have to their advantage, no matter how useless it may seem at first." She still tried attacking while she spoke.

Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Just now, Random Bystander said: Quote "Stabilizing" is a magical ability that Linecasters have that holds metal objects in place, whether that place be on the ground, in the air; wherever. Basically, Camelia's either getting anchored to one spot by her rapier or it's getting yanked right out of her hand.

She looked at it floating in the air. "Okay. Hand to hand then." *internal screaming* MY RAPIER AHHHHHHHHHHH! She rushed at Ayia, and tried grabbing her shirt. "What the Rust was that?"

Ayia leaped backwards, tossing a few throwing daggers just for fun. She doubted any of them would hit. Hopefully. "Stabilization! It's how I do this:" she held out one of her staffs in the air and Stabilized it, swinging around in a complete overhead one-eighty. She held on with one hand and balanced perfectly upright, biceps straining to hold up an entire human.

It's a sleeveless and shoulderless cuirass: i.e. a hardcore leather tank top. Ayia pivoted around the pole, then swung down to kick Camelia in the chest with both legs, careful to keep her right arm free.

She immediately dropped to the floor, and rolled to the side. She got up as quickly as she could.
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Ayia let the momentum carry her, letting go of the staff and zipping through the air. She dropped her right elbow to the ground and slid, scraping away at the only thing she had in the way of sleeves: a tight, linen-like length of cloth that extended from upper wrist to just below her bicep. At a glance, it didn't look like it would offer any protection to such friction, but when she slid to a stop, the mini-sleeve (as she liked to call it) was still intact. From there, she pushed herself to her feet, brandishing her second staff.

"My breath to yours. Propel things." A second later, she shot at Ayia arms out, trying to grab onto something she could awaken.
