Condensation she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "Should I move the wall? I can take it where I took the dyrlings."
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 1 hour ago, Spren of Kindness said: "Nothing related to the situation at hand." He absently rubs the back of his neck. "It's not important." "It's important to me, so spill."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 13 minutes ago, Channelknight Fadran said: "It's important to me, so spill." "I was thinking about portals."
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Ayia nodded. "Okay. What about them?"
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Martin hesitates for a moment. "Traveling. Through them."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "Not really." There's time for discussion, but it's not now.
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Ayia glanced around. "Are you sure?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 "Buddy..." Ayia leaned in a bit. "You really scared me earlier. Can you at least say... something? About how you're doing?"
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "I'm fine now. Other than that..." He shrugs, spreading his hands. "I'm not really in control of it. That's the whole point."
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 "There's no way to... turn it off or get it out?"
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "Yes to both. But the first isn't possible, and the second requires a lot of money, a neurosurgeon, and very specific equipment."
Flaming Coinshot he/him Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Crispin looked around at everyone. He was dressed in an immaculate uniform, with creases so sharp that they could kill, and an array of medals arranged in a perfect order. He had a cap on with an insignia on it, and he had a decorative sword at his side. He looked to be around the age of Elduvar, in his late twenties, perhaps early thirties, with light tan skin, bright blond hair, and green eyes. He closed his eyes for a moment, willing his clothes to shift, and suddenly he was dressed in civilian clothes in relaxed, cool colors and he had a nice pair of shades on. A table with a map of Sel on it appeared in front of him. "So, what's the plan? I'll try to help as I can." Edited July 28, 2021 by Flaming Coinshoot

Flaming Coinshot he/him Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Quote yes. the map adjusts to where we are, so unless I am, once again, getting this completely wrong, the map just shows the general area around Sel. You can scroll or input new coordinates to go to a different section.
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Quote Ooookay? I'm just saying that having a map of the entire Macrosmos is completely impossible.
Flaming Coinshot he/him Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Quote Which is why you can only see limited amounts at a time. Or actually, screw that, I have gotten it wrong again. Lemme go edit. Edit: done. Edited July 28, 2021 by Flaming Coinshoot
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Just now, Channelknight Fadran said: "Then let's get a lot of money, a neurosurgeon, and some very specific equipment." "We don't have the time to do that. Overthrowing a king, remember?" Martin kind of misses Earth. No magic. He could have dealt with this situation a long time ago if he had decent intel and orders.
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 "Do you know what Fadran's doing?" Ayia asked, crossing her arms.
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "Organizing overthrowing a king?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 "Nope." Ayia pointed over at the command tent. "He's in there. In that tent, with Queen, presumably responsible enough not to need a chaperone, setting up some magicky-mumbo-jumbo headquarters so that we can all split up without actually splitting up." 1
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 "Oh." He needs to pay more attention to what's going on.
Channelknight Fadran Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 "Now he didn't tell anybody that because he's an idiot, but if what he's doing works..." Ayia looked Martin in eye, "we could... maybe get that chip out of your brain."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Martin takes the sudden flare of hope that starts to form and shoves it into the back of his mind harshly. There are too many variables. "That would be..." How does he finish that? "Nice."
