Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Ayia punched him in the arm, then jogged off to where she had last seen those kids.

She said with a mischievous grin." She held the rope in one hand. "Oh, and this takes a lot of practice. And I mean a lot of practice. It took me about a year to learn basic commands, and then two years to learn how to do advanced commands." She focused on the rope really hard. "My life, to yours. Hold when thrown." She then grinned at the first guy, and threw the rope at his body. @Matrim's Dice
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Ayia poked her head inside the tent, face contorting into a confused glare. "What in the world is going on in here?"

Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 "Is this awakening thing dangerous?"

His second was to try to grab the rope, but he intentionally delayed himself enough that the rope landed. Just now, Channelknight Fadran said: "Is this awakening thing dangerous?" "Occasionally, but not with a rope Awakened to hold when thrown. Unless it lands on someone's neck."

Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 "So as long as you guys are careful, nobody's getting themselves exploded?"

There are no explosives when it comes to awakening! Hey, are you a good fighter? I want to show him ways you can use awakening in a fight. It'll be more likely to get him excited about learning." She pulled a mistcloak out of her bag. Quote You guys don't know how long I've been wanting to do this.

Quote Ha, jokes on you, Ayia's been doing it since she was born! As for magical fighting, though, she started that when she was 10. "Unless you'd rather duke it out in this tiny tent."
Random Bystander she/her Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Just now, Channelknight Fadran said: "Unless you'd rather duke it out in this tiny tent." Quote She's trained with Vasher... On Roshar... For about a year... And with a bunch of other people. She's never seen Nightblood, though. "Nope." She left the tent, and went into a large, empty area.

Quote I'd just like you to know that Ayia is an incredibly competent combatist. Basically undefeated. Her skills are insane. I have a lot of fun writing out her fight scenes. I.E. what I'm saying is that having a random child upstage a person who's trained for their entire life isn't plausible and would annoy me very much Ayia followed, dropping into a stance designed to start off quick. She didn't know how capable this kid was, but if they were at all as skilled as they claimed to be, then underestimating them wouldn't be a very good idea.

Quote No, but she'd be able to hold her off for a while. Longer then most well trained soldiers. Especially with her mistcloak. I mean, she's never defeated Vasher, and couldn't beat a radiant, Mistborn, or full Feruchemist, but she could beat a Dakhor monk alone. "One moment." She grabbed a vial of bronze, and drank the liquid. She burned it, and compounded her feruchemical bronze, jolting her awake. She was now completely awake. "Okay. I'm ready when you are." She said, falling into a defensive stance. She was better defensive then offensive.

She leapt into the air, swinging her staff in a wide overhead arc down onto Camilla's head. Before it came down completely, though, Ayia Stabilized and swung around the now-suspended staff, flipping straight over Camilla and landing behind her. She summoned another staff, swinging backwards at the kid's legs without looking.

Camelia, took that in, and untied the knots on her sleeves. "My life to yours. Upon my call become as my fingers." She said. Her shirt bleached out. She then charged forward, carefully watching Ayia. Remember what you've been taught.

Remember what you've been taught. Scraps! Ayia thought to herself in the very anime-like split second while Camelia ran forwards. Her cape can steal things? We'll just see what she thinks about that. She jumped to the side and ran around in a wide arc. The regular movement felt sloppy and pathetic, but it'd have to do for now. Ayia leaped up, grabbed her still-floating staff, and swung onto it, perched like a bird. Letting out a breath, she watched to see what Camelia did next.

I have to catch her off guard, or distract her. "My life to yours. Hold when thrown." She said as softly as she could while holding her rope. She then ran as fast as she could, which was fast, and threw the rope at her arms.
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Ayia, being the big-brained warrior that she was, caught the rope and let it tangle around only one arm. From there, she swung down from her staff and started running.

Quote Already did. She is a bronze compounder. Camelia frowned. She started moving as quickly as possible. Her bronze was still burning, and she was drawing the feruchemical power out of it. Why isn't she doing anything? She ran forward, trying a feint.
