Then, before he could second-guess himself, he stepped forward and kissed Vapor, his soft lips brushing against her cheek. "Stay safe," he said, looking down at the ground. Vapor blushed, and she stepped forward and kissed him on the lips, smiling. She turned around and ran through the portal, leaving Jek speechless.
