+Oltux72 he/him Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 In the PR Cultivation's perpendicularity is on a mountain top. That counts as dry land, hence it would be in a sea of beads in Shadesmar. That is a problem. If it is really exactly mirrored, you'd need a submarine to reach it. That would be detrimental to trade and passage. So is a mountain lake an extremely steep undersea mountain in Shadesmar? Is there a ring of dry land around it? Is it still a pool or a droplet?
Eternal Khol he/him Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) Well her perpendicularity is in the lakes on top of the mountains which should be land in shadesmar. It would just be surrounded by a sea of beads. someone who can make use of Mandra or Manifest souls wouldn’t have a problem getting to it Edited May 19, 2020 by Eternal Khol
Honorless he/him Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) It seems that it is (or rather, was, due to Odium's forces) indeed accessible to spren and Worldhoppers. The spren probably have Mandra driven ships like we saw, some of the Worldhoppers might have their own means as well, given that they usually have access to some form of Investiture arts. I think that the Perpendicularity sits far underground at the base of the lakes (or Oceans, as the Unkalaki call them) at the peaks. This would mean the lakes should manifest on Shadesmar as dry land surrounded by an ocean of beads. Unless the mountains also manifest in Shadesmar in some manner. On Scadrial, the land was reflected as liquid mist but on Roshar land manifests as beads, would the beads form the mountains? Hmm... Edited May 19, 2020 by R J
Quantus he/him Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 The Horneater peaks have crater lakes on top called the Horneater Oceans. Underneath the ordinary water level of at least one of them is a second layer of an emerald-colored liquid, sitting very still under the water.
