Araris Valerian he/him Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 But there is something like a 1/150 chance that Xino could actually have scanned two consecutive elim kills. Even if my life wasn’t on the line, that is too much of a stretch for me to buy into.
Zillah she/her Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) Kynedath Araris Valerian I don’t have time to say much, my phones at 9%. . . Pulling this and having it be a lie would no doubt get xino and likely fifth lynched in the next few cycles. They also with Araris to not tip them off that early on. The information would have been worthless that early on. 3 minutes ago, Araris Valerian said: But there is something like a 1/150 chance that Xino could actually have scanned two consecutive elim kills. After seeing one attack, Xino likely would have looked at who appeared to be in league with the ideas of the prospective elim. This narrows down the options, significantly increasing the odds of success. Edited February 23, 2020 by Zillah low Phone battery= rushed typing & bad grammar.

Zillah she/her Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 5%!!!! Interesting to note that both Abstrusity and Araris Valerian are currently voting on Xinoehp.

Kynedath Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Okay folks! Time to get cracking! 7 players left, I'm assuming 3 elims and 4 villagers. I assume we can trust Xino and their predictions, so I am going to vote on Araris. If you are village, please join me in this vote. We can only arrest one elim per cycle, so we need to be united in who we choose. We have it on very good confidence that both Araris and Abstrucity are elims so lets focus on that instead of becoming distracted with finding the others. We can deliberate that to our hearts content, but I believe it would be in our best interest to keep our votes focused. With some clever play the village can still win. Guns need to be bought, vote manipulation needs to be used, and pressure needs to be kept up. If anyone votes for someone other than Araris or Abstrucity for the next two cycles then I am honestly going to automatically assume that they are the last member of the elim team. 2
Zillah she/her Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 I’m just a bit too tired for much analysis at this point, however I have some questions to open up the cycle. @Fifth ScholarCould you perhaps give some explanation to your last minute switch from Araris to Xino? @Araris Valerian @Abstrusity and @Sart , could you also shed some light on your votes last cycle? Another thing to note is the extra vote that Xino had on them. Meaning one of the five in question is a First Citizen. The relevance of that is currently up for debate, but for now I'm alright following Kynedaths initial plan. Araris Valerian 1
Araris Valerian he/him Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 @Zillah Can’t you see that Xino flipped DDF? That means that he was an elim. 1

Just now, Zillah said: No. . .they were not an eliminator. Of course they were. We killed 3 elims last cycle. Defiant Defense Force is the eliminator team this game. The goal is to defeat them and put a more equitable government in place that will be able to thrive even after the Krell have been defeated. Zillah, I'm pretty sure you must be an elim, if you don't know what the village goal is this game. 2
Kynedath Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 @Rathmaskal, @StrikerEZ, you both were not part of the final showdown happening in the last cycle but we really need you guys to help us out if the village is going to pull out a victory.
Araris Valerian he/him Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Yeah, we need their help to finish overthrowing the DDF.
Fifth Scholar he/him Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Oops, guess I killed Xino accidentally. No hurt feelings? Especially since he was evil? 10 hours ago, Kynedath said: We have it on very good confidence that both Araris and Abstrucity are elims so lets focus on that instead of becoming distracted with finding the others. I dunno, can you really trust Xino? Seems a tad suspicious to me. Confirmed good does not equal confirmed right, but confirmed evil certainly does not give anyone credibility! /shrugs diffidently 10 hours ago, Kynedath said: If anyone votes for someone other than Araris or Abstrucity for the next two cycles then I am honestly going to automatically assume that they are the last member of the elim team. Only an Eliminator deals in absolutes. Sad to see such blatant prejudice against all those not buying into Xino’s honeyed lies. 9 hours ago, Zillah said: I’m just a bit too tired for much analysis at this point, however I have some questions to open up the cycle. @Fifth ScholarCould you perhaps give some explanation to your last minute switch from Araris to Xino? Perhaps I could, Zillah. I’m glad you’re keeping an open mind, so I’ll lay out my case here: 1) Araris is my fellow villager. I know this because of a secret village doc Elandera put together called the Disputers, which has him and a friend of ours named Rath in it. Unlike Xino, I’m going public with this so that people can fact-check us. As you can see, we’ve been hard at work rooting out the entrenched DDF Elims among us, and they’re nearly all out of the way. I suspect you’re one of the last few. 2) Xino is not my fellow villager. As @Araris Valerian justly points out, he flipped Elim. I performed a last-minute hammer to ensure the Elims wouldn’t be on in time to use vote manipulation to save their teammate, and since it worked, I don’t see why you’re taking issue with it. Falsely accusing somebody in an explicitly village doc was an immediate red flag on his part; not really sure why he tried that.
Araris Valerian he/him Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 You know, it really should be called the Compliant Defense Force, given how everyone in it behaves. The true DDF, the Disputer's Defense Force, will give rise to democracy in the ashes of this authoritarian mess. 1
Kynedath Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Okay, fair enough. I was holding out hope that you'd want to hold on to anonymity a little longer fifth, but it seems this has now been turned into a straight roles and items game. Scud.

Abstrusity Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I'm glad that the village is winning at this point. Just need to root out the last few elims. Want to roleplay now, since the game doesn't really have any discussion to be done anymore? In Rayne's broken mind, the world was nothing but a mess of light and sound. He could still hear the faint echoes of the song, the song of the stars. The world blurred around him. Then, in the grey world, a dark shape loomed over him. Its hand reached out towards him. Its hands were like claws, and the song told him it was full of hate. There was no time to think. Rayne pulled his destructor pistol from his belt and swung it towards the figure. He pulled the trigger, and everything went black again. He awoke in a hospital. He could hear Ironsides in the next room, along with some others in command. He strained to make out the voices. "Why would he shoot his rescuer?" "I don't know. The only one to ever act like this before was..." "The Coward of Alta." There was silence for a second, then a brief sound of agreement. Rayne knew he was in terrible danger. Any moment now, they'd walk in and decide he'd lived long enough. He tore the sheets from his bed and ran. His feet sounded on the hard floor of the hallway. A few people saw him, but none were quick enough to stop him. In moments, he'd put a significant amount of distance between him and the base. He made a beeline for the tunnels. There were friends hiding within. Those who truly knew what it meant to be Defiant.
Zillah she/her Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 @StrikerEZ Village is in need of dire help! 1
Abstrusity Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) I can provide dire help. I am the most dire ever. Behold my direness. Phn'glui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
