- Allomancy is a form-based magic. The molecular structure of particular metals allow Preservation's Investiture to flow into the Allomancer in the same way the Dor would flow into an Elantrian's Aons. This Investiture somehow is able to grant the Allomancer enhanced abilities.

- A Net-Positive system, as it takes energy from an outside force - in this case, Preservation's Investiture.

- An efficient Investiture system, it gives out no light or visible signs of power. A particular variant of Allomancer - the Seeker, can trace Allomancer's by their allomantic signature however, pulses able to measured by wavelengths.

Pros:

  • It is simple and intuitive. It is possible to learn to use an ability with little or no training.

Cons:

  • It is limited in it's application. Each metal corresponds to a single ability, and very few people have access to more than one metal.
