I've had this debate before, but I still don't think Nightblood is just the kill-all of the cosmere and would be there is something that can protect from it, and if anyone could do it, it would be Hoid.

I agree that if anyone can it’s Hoid, but Nightblood is the one thing he fears. To me that indicates that it would be a near even match. I also agree that there will be some counter. If I had to fight him I’d go with aluminum plate mail.

Even the thought of any harm at all, even to himself, makes him nauseous to the point of incapacitation.

Wit IS the King's Wit and though the king now be a wee little lad, maybe Dalinar will assume the throne and for some reason would appoint Wit as the good champion.
