Bit of a shame but it's still way earlier than I'd have expected.

Been rather strange not turning on a console since. Ive been able to read though! Will be back after Death Stranding 2. I needed this recharge for sure much as I have come to utterly love Zemuria!!

Finally Daybreak 2 is on sale at 20% off. That took the longest time of any of these since I've been playing em. I ll have to go buy some fund cards as its till just over the $100 mark and my sub needed redoing I don't have enough on anymore.

Claire Ob is at 10% now to. I'm not sure if I ll grab it also or wait for a 20% to hit. I ll most likely wait as im still going strong on Death Stranding 2. Hell maybe i ll just go ahead and go for it and play it afterwards and give more time for game 3 to hit before I start back up with these.... ugh decisions.. I've been enjoying the breather but I do oh so love this franchise and want back all at the same time and I got to admit these PS5 graphics are so eye opening when away from Zemuria after spending literal yrs there...

Sky demo is absolutely gorgeous, I'm about to cry here, it's amazing to see how far Falcom has gone with 3d since CS1. 

Translation also feels more natural imo, though the npc names are sending me for a ride. Ellie → Aria? Armand → Areum? Claire → Cruse? Did Liberl have names like that all along and we just didn't know? 

Also gotta love that we get all 3 soundtracks. 

Seamless exteriors do so much more for immersion than I could've thought, it's an experience approaching Rolent and being able to just, walk in. 

Only just started, looking forward to see combat.

The name changes are to make them closer to their Japanese names I think

Well, I guess if the kana really hoes Areum it'd be hard to come up with a transliteration to a more common name.

Also active combat is good, a step up from Daybreak. It's almost Ys at this point.

The log keeps track of dialogue all the way back to the beginning of the game! What is this, Umineko? I love this feature so freaking much, most games can't hold enough text to last a cutscene.

It's a very good adaptation of the original though the translation is different

No. They've literally already released all the skins. It's not a battle pass, it's a special pass. It's a single purchase, not a monthly thing

Well that's a shame. I mean at least we know it's coming? What was the wording though, there'll be an announcement for a game that's not from the big 2 series or something? Or was it just "It's not Ys" and therefore Trails counts?

Ah, found the thing. It was a post by Kiseki Nut saying that Falcom's financial report suggested they were making two games, one of which was SC. Well, so much for that. Now we wait I suppose.

Ok so, officially unnamed Tokyo Xanadu sequel in active development. Plus mainline Trails and Ys in production. Plus an unnamed game and a port? Did not know they had enough hands for that.

Well uh, I think I just took a couple steps backwards.

I am, unashamedly, very picky about resolution in games, and antialiasing to a lesser degree. Reverie and Daybreak never looked amazing on Switch to begin with, but they looked decent. However recently I upgraded to a 1080 tv, which neither game supports, so now they both turned into an actual blurfest. But since I now have a ps4 available, I figured I can just, you know, get them there and get the shiny graphics. But I started with Reverie for some reason. So yeah, it's downloading as I type this...

I will take this chance to play the game more slowly, since originally I practically speedran the damn thing, to the point that speaking of blurfests, my memory of the game is itself a blur. And this time I'll also make sure to finish the post game and watch that cool Renne scene I apparently missed. So uh, see you all when I get there I guess. Calvard will have to wait. With any luck by the time I start once again the fourth game will have a title.

Speaking of Trails, Horizon is out! I'm gonna be enjoying my time with it! ...once I get a chance to play it instead of reading Cradle.

Oh, I think I got like the first three of those packaged in a single file on Kindle an eternity and a half ago. Now, screw Kindle nowadays, but are the books good? There seems to be a lot.
