Zephrun’s Imperium they/he Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 (edited) Ember knew her telepathy was strong. The strongest out there. However, it was so strong that she was capable of ripping a person's cognitive shadow away from them completely. She had failed to save Pheonix and Xino (she was honestly having trouble distinguishing between the two) twice and her pride demanded that she mustn't fail again. However, if it was necessary, she would let him go to protect his mind. And so, she turned her telepathy the opposite way and attacked the offender of Pheonix's mind. (I'm assuming you mean Ember) Pheonix slipped through her telepathic grasp, fading despite her attempt to pull him back. Ember growled. "No! I can save him! There has to be a way! I am infallible! I will not be revoked by Silence or any other creature!" She grabbed Tom by the shoulders, the rest of her armor burning away. "How can I bring him back? How!"
