Zokora bowed slightly.

"Thank you for your hospitalitay and the welcome."

What was his title, it had been written down in her folder. Hopefully he wasn't offended, by her leaving it away. She didn't add anything more, left the rest to Lusk as he outranked her.

@I think I am here.

Lusk looked towards the Canton kid, now dubbed in one of those armours the marines were. They were discussing of attacking the areas around PlasmaCore.

“Alright, you say you think this dark cloud thing is from PlasmaCore,” Lusk said, making himself younger and crossing his arms.

“But why? I’d rather not take the chance we’re wrong.” Especially after all that mess with the Whiterose.

“Anyway, if you’re certain they’re behind it, I can send over some Ghostblood squadrons to assist you.”

Light Acute stepped onto the bridge. The short walk had exhausted it more than it should have, though each day was a little easier.

She focused her attention on the others in the room. Some were Marines she recognized, others were people she didn't recognize. There was a man and a woman speaking with Azrael. Ghostbloods, she assumed by the words they spoke. Their tattoos weren't visible, but she knew somewhere on them was a mark matching the one on her forehead. Light untucked some hair from behind her ear to let it fall in front of her face. Like most of the other Acutes, she didn't like blaring Hellbent's mark to the world.

On a screen the world outside was visible. There was a dark fog spreading among the city.

"What in Harmony's name is happening?" she muttered to herself. Last she'd heard Crow had been captured - any more than that was new to her.

We're ~2,000 miles high, in a kilometers-long battleship built to travel through Hell, so... no :P

I could teleport you up, though, if you want.

I'm not sure if that'll make sense RP-wise.  We could have Stormbreaker contact you though.  He is allied with the Ghostbloods so it would make sense for him to have the higher-up's contact info.

Terald, Forel's second, cried out in alarm as the roof lit up with defenses.  He was the first to fall.  Hails of bullets raked down him and two Silent Shadows just before Forel got the Aonic shield up.  He pulled out the diagram-phone and quickly signaled Stormbreaker (he'd had his personal number for this mission) that the operation was going sideways.

And indeed it was.  The Aonic shield was already starting to crack, and the Viper drop-ship was taking too much fire to pull them out.  Storms, Forel thought, I've led my team into a death-trap.  The roof was quite flat, with no cover whatsoever.  The only thing they could do was make cover.

Forel motioned for a surviving member, Hiyon, to take Aon Daa.  Hiyon used the Aon to throw a streamlined blast of investiture at a turret, providing an opening for the team.  They ran for it, dashing past the melted turret and over the side of the roof.  One of the Silent Lurkers was taken down by an errant ball of plasma as he jumped, his melted carcass falling many stories down.  The rest of them were rescued by the badly damaged viper, which limped about 20 blocks to the north, then crashed in fiery wreckage.

Stormbreaker listened to the transmission in disbelief.  One of his best Watcher teams had failed.  Not only failed, but half of their members were killed.  They were stranded in the streets, their Viper drop-ship shot down.

The Diagram had anticipated this, but had failed to warn them of the power that Plasmacore had.  He'd need the rest of his guild, plus government backing if he would do this.  The most important thing was to contact Great Guilds that had resources and money to help them.  The Ghostbloods were allied with him, and most certainly out here somewhere.  He needed a much more solid plan.

With evacuation like this, I do agree some would survive.

Crow waited in silence. Heartbeat. Crow slid her armored hand against the metallic wall. Heartbeat. She stood slowly, armor helping. Heartbeat. She looked around. Heartbeat. Crow grinned lightly, waiting. Heartbeat. Her thoughts drifted as she waited. Heartbeat. She thought of the Acute's, and her face distorted in rage. Heartbeat. She imagined wrapping her armored hands around Light, or Freedom's, neck. Heartbeat. Her hands pushed against the wall. Heartbeat. She stepped back, and her hand fell to the side in summoning stance. Heartbeat.

The shardblade fell into her hand, and she started slashing.

I currently have at least five.

This is subject to change by at least four.

The man with stars for skin watched Dark Phoenix work.

He had taken charge by default, outlining to them intricate investiture procedures.

Now, the Vortex was almost ready.

It opened, and this time, something different came out. One man, with elantrian like glow, but blood red. And five mistwraiths, but with a light bioluminescent glow, and a decidedly more violent shape.

The man grinned lightly. The Vortex was working.

You could contact Zokora, if you want to.

Zokora listened, then typed an order and sent it to their safe houses, labs and whoever else was in the city.

Evacuate, lock the doors, no need to panic, but everybody who is not crucial has to get out.

Then she contacte a part of the army, instructed them to start evacuating the city.

Maybe she was wrong, but her gut told her, that this was going to end badly.

Wordlessly she sent a copy of her messages to Lusk, to keep him uptodate.

Damon took a deep breath. Then he pulled the pin on his charge. The twenty seconds was ticking.  He placed it carefully down on the granite. Tossing a bullet casing onto the roof beneath him, he steelpushed himself 20 meters into the air against it as it came into contact with the stone. A few tense heartbeats later, the charge blew. Because of it's cone shaped nature, the explosion was directed straight downward, smashing through the stone and blowing a three foot diameter hole in the roof. Very little of the explosion came back at Damon as he dropped down through the hole, quickdrawing both his already-cocked revolvers. He slowed himself at the last moment before he hit the floor, landing in a crouch. He raised both revolvers and pointed  at two of the three dark figures. barley visible through the smoke and rubble in the air. The third could be delt with by a pushed bullet casing. Damon rolled to the side, came up, and fired.

Azrael slammed a fist against the table.

"Half my psykers are dead, assassin," he said. "My Chief Librarian's head exploded at the exact moment that mist started appearing. That doesn't just 'happen' with the Warp. Something is down there, centered on PlasmaCore, and we need to kill it before it breaks the city."

"If I had to hazard a guess," said a familiar voice behind her, "I'd say that the world was ending."

Brother-Sergeant Pietr Farren knelt down, smiling openly at Light. "It's good that we can meet again, little one," he said. "Your siblings are in the hangar. It's time you reunited with them."

The figures dodged somehow, moving out of the way with frightening speed and aiming blocky guns at Damon.

A fist, propelled by a half-ton of muscle and power armor, slammed into Damon's head from behind.

"The Knights of Blood are gathered at the Canton," Azrael said, leaning over the holo-map. "Arm yourself for rapid assault. Rally the bases we have in the city, establish communications and perimeters. Then go in and slaughter every living thing around that building." His gauntlets clenched imperceptibly.  "PlasmaCore seems to think they've claimed the city. Dissuade them of that notion."

"They'll be remembered as nothing more than momentary inconveniences once I'm through with them. I need intel, however. Do we know what is in store for us? Where key members of the enemy will be so I can send some men to ~ahem~ relieve them of duty?"

Flying through the city, Astiel swung by the Canton, entering through a secret entrance into the intelligence department.

"I'm sure you know the issue. I want people with me. Four in the air, stay hidden but keep me in sight. Another five on the ground" He called out to the gathered members.

"And what will you be doing, sir?"

"Assassinating whoever the hell did this once I find them." Astiel then turned to Novus.

"You. Investigate PlasmaCore, you're a virtual unknown to them, so you get to walk up to them ask what's going on. Pretend to be a supporter of their organisation."

"We're going in blind," Azrael said, turning to Silphio. "I didn't find out much during my reconnaissance of the building. Theoretically, they have an army of experimental monsters stored in that building- Larkin dragons, super-Lifeless, daemonic hordes..." His voice trailed off. "I hate sending you in blind, but we don't have time to delay. Stay away from the main building for now. If you can secure the city and clear a landing zone, I can land heavier support elements to crack their defenses."

"How can we support?"

Zokora asked.

Crow reached the other end of the wall, and blasted out into a corridor.

The space marine nearby had no time to react, and he quickly fell, armor cracked and eyes burning.

She rushed onward, killing one marine from behind, another through the spinal column. She chuckled, her eyes misting over with a red haze. She chopped down another wall, going to the location she had to reach.

One minute until rescue.

Zokora nodded. Then she handed him a document.

"Our spy within their ranks. He might be able to offer some insights as well. And details of his current assignment."

Turning to Silphio she added.

"We should combine our efforts. We are stronger together."

Crow slashed another wall.

Bellatrix watched, awestruck.

Then her phone rang.

Dammit.

She picked up the phone, and clicked the green button, answering. "Hello?" She was aware of the star-skined mans judging eyes, watching her with the most condescending, disgusted, and confused look on his face.

That would really spoil the fun.

Open planning is one thing (otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned them here), but to post the name? That destroys everything. And please keep in mind that none of your characters/ NPCs can know this IC. I trust you here. Please don't change their behaviour.
