Silva Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Aderet, almost frozen from shock, followed after Renata and Lizanne. Her breathing was erratic and thoughts branching from running away as fast as possible and curling up into a ball.
I think I am here. he/him Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Quote Thanks for giving me the option to let Wil follow them, but I think Wil will stay. He doesn’t like to keep loose ends. As soon as the murder happened Wilhelm had snapped open his eyes, awake. He had expected something like this. And then the screaming followed, and the eye, the large creature, or maybe part of a creature, that looked at Hellbent, turning him into what Wilhelm was. Once was. As the large man ripped into Tish’s flesh, meat flying off, Wilhelm could feel his own urge too. The body was right there, and already dead too. But no, he had tried so hard to escape to throw it all away. Somebody jumped from within the cellar to attack Hellbent. Using the distraction, Wilhelm ran to the opposite wall of the cellar, and took out his six knives, throwing them at Hellbent.
+Ark1002 Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Hellbent screeched, his massive leg lashing out like a battering ram. Quote He used one hand, you can't catch a shardblade that way and Hellbent swung with enough force to break your skull with his fist
+Sorana she/her Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Lizanne continued to back away. Hellbent was attacked by Wil and another guy whose name she'd forgotten. She wasn't sure who would win, and so she continued to move backwards. When she finally was behind a larger piece of rock, she gestured to the others, wordlessly asked which direction to go. Theyneeded to hide, quickly. Once men got their blood running, you never knew when instincts would come through, if they would see them as prey or not. A shadow moved over her face and vanished when she pushedthe memory away again. Not only men. Violence had a tendency to bring out the worst in everybody. Add to that the eye, that was still watching, still staring - a shiver ran over her body. Away. She had to get away. @Silva @kenod @ZincAboutItlizanne continued to
I think I am here. he/him Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Two of Wilehelm’s knives hit, stabbing square into Hellbent’s right arm. Wilhelm got up, the two other men seemed to be having enough of a fight, and he looked outside just in time to see some women running away. He scowled, a dark look in his face. Of course, they were running away at the slightest danger. Here was shelter. Here was water. Food, even. And yet they’d left him and the other man to deal with Hellbent. Looking back at Hellbent he took out a wine bottle from a shelf and smashed it, liquid spilling as Wilhelm squarely threw the jagged pieces of glass at Hellbent.
+Ark1002 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Hellbent threw Jack backwards multiple feet, bellowing wordlessly. He ripped the knives out of his arm, throwing one into a nearby plank, the other held in his right hand. Then he sprinted toward Wilehelm, blade flashing outward in a massive arc.
kenod Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 (edited) Lisa looked over the rock they were hiding behind, and immediately ducked back behind it, almost curling up in panic. She looked at the others, and somehow managed not to completely panic. "What are going to do?" She whispered in a panicking voice. "Are we going to run away? I mean, right now they're busy with each other, but I don't think Wilhelm can win. And they eye is there as well." Quote Edit: can one of the other girls suggest that we can't run, since it would mean Jack Wilhelm and Arun die? My character can't make the suggestion currently, but it's rather important to consider. Also, if they do suggest that then please don't kill the others off yet, just fight for a few more turns. Lisa will try to do something to help. Edited May 17, 2019 by kenod 2
+ZincAboutIt she/her Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Arun, Renata realized with a chill. "Arun's in the cellar," she whispered, voice hollow with dread. She looked from Lisa, to Lizanne, to Aderet. "If we leave her there, she'll die." It doesn't matter, something inside her pleaded. Just leave. Go. But that eye... It would follow them wherever they went. She knew it like she knew her own name - that is to say, she was almost sure of it. "We can't leave, not yet. If we let everyone else die, we're good as dead ourselves." @kenod @Sorana
+Sorana she/her Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Lizanne groaned. It was stupid to stay, so unwise. But if they stayed, she couldn't run anyway. Turning around she stepped around the fire. Then she grabbed her net, stepped forward and threw it at Hellbent, hoped that he would tangle himself, or at least to distract him for a short moment. Quote Lizanne can't run... @Ark1002

She thought about the others, the ones trying to fight, and knew they'd die as well. They'll die anyway, she tried to convince herself, and we'd die too. She looked at the others, her eyes falling on Lizanne. She can't run, she realized. She will die too. She looked down at the spear she was holding, and an idea formed in her head. She heard the screams in her head not to do it, to just let them die, but ignored them. She looked at the others "I might be able to deal with Hellbent," she said, suprised at how calm she sounded. "If it works you need to leave as soon as possible. I don't think I can do anything permanent, and I'm not sure how long it'll work." With that she stood up and moved out from behind the rock, circling around Hellbent, trying not to draw his attention. Quote Just interpret this as taking place at the same time as Lizanne's action, internet was wonky when I wrote this up and didn't upload it.
+Ark1002 Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Hellbent barely even looked, slashing the net in half. He kept going towards Wilehelm.

Wilhelm rolled to the side but the spear was too fast and it nicked his arm. Yelling in pain he quickly ripped off a part of his clothes and tied a tourniquet around the bleeding area, and looked up to see Hellbent chasing a woman, both of them running far away, to the forests. Wilhelm got up and ran to the top of the cellar to see them, but they were too far for him to do anything, and he had no experience in throwing spears. But he did have experience in making traps. “Hey!” He yelled out to Hellbent, dragging Tish’s body out. Every trap needed a bait, and he held the body high up above. His accent could be clearly heard in the yelling. “Didn’t you want this you big coward! You don’t deserve that’s sword you animal!” He out the body at the foot of the cellar and got to work on the trap, trying to use any wood from the cellar shelves and the spear.
+ZincAboutIt she/her Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 "Storms, storms, storms," Renata whispered as Lisa ran towards Hellbent. She whipped around to face Lizanne and Aderet. "Get to the far edge of the house, where the tower was. I'll try and meet you. We need to get Arun out of that cellar." She dashed out from behind the rocks in time to see Wilhelm get nicked by Hellbent's thrown spear. Renata swore, then sprinted down the stairs and grabbed Arun under the arms. "Get up, damnation, and walk as best you can," she hissed at the girl. "If we don't leave now, we're all dead, and I won't die here in this Heralds-forsaken cellar. Almighty, I will not." Not waiting for a reply, Renata started half dragging, half-carrying Arun up the stone staircase. As she neared the top, she saw Wilhelm dragging Tish's body around towards the doorway. "What are you doing?" Renata cried. @Sorana @Blessing of Potency @Silva @I think I am here. Quote Sorry for a slight godmod here Po, but I assume you don't want Arun to die?
