I see. Well, I guess that's all well and good.

Oh, wait, it's not.

Because who would kill someone in order to be able to chirp like a cricket?

Keleth then realized that Hemalurgy won.  He sighed in defeat.  He then stepped back, because he currently knew nothing of the precursors.  Plus, Fortress Eternal was outside the Precursors' jurisdiction.

Yeah, I was just about to change it. :)

The roses are fine now. But crickets are in danger. ONLY I CAN SAVE THEM!!!!

I wouldn't be if they get confirmed. Unless it is privately owned, and the Precursors get confirmed, they would have jurisdiction there.

Not necessarily.  It's completely privately owned, and the small town that's sprung up around it is policed by my own private militia.  Sadly, the town is about to be destroyed by an invading yeti army, but hey, life happens.

Keleth cautiously raised his voice.  "Hello?  Anybody here?"  When he heard nothing, he spoke further, "If anybody is here, let me make a statement.  Fortress Eternal is currently under attack from a massive tribe of yetis.  Food and resources are appreciated."

A DA acolyte sweeping the walkway looked up. “Have you tried flooding the area? Yetis sink.”

Dusk came forwards, from his existence, and said, "Hello. How much food and resources do you require, and how much reimbursement would I receive for bypassing the government an helping? Also, could your control please stop changing his name so we can mention him easier? Oh, look, mimes!"

Jimmy looked up at that with a frown. Yup. There was another rent in the spacetime continuum. He'd have to go subnuclear to get that one fixed. it seemed that a character had unconsciously looked past the barrier into the Realm above Realms. Oh dear. Humdiddly hum.

Gee, sometimes life got boring as a mime.

Jimmy froze time completely. Everything stopped.

Jimmy approached the rent. He could touch it, as a mime, but no other class of people could. Mimes were special.

Now came the boring part.

Jimmy acted like he was just hit by a nuke. Mimes had special powers. whatever they acted like they were doing... became reality.

So, he just pretended a nuke hit him. Then, he absorbed it's energy before everyone in the room died.

Then, he used this energy to create a mime box around the rent. Mime boxes were powerful things.

Then, he just compressed the box, squeezing spacetime until something popped. Spacetime was like playdo.

If you press the edges together, they fix up.

Jimmy unfroze time and had a seat in the fourth dimension to watch the proceedings.

Dusk, who is immune to mime powers said, "Well, I wonder how that mime absorbed that blast from a nuke, reformed his atomized body, and fixed the whole in spacetime I just made. Oh, look, Mime Special Forces!"

Keleth frowned, and said, "My controller does what he wishes, but he does so like variety."  He frowned, then continued, "After all, if the only constant is change, then we might as well capitalize on it."

He continued after the break had been fixed, and said to Dusk, "Reinbursment will be provided in the extremely flammable yeti corpses, and the very fertile yeti northlands.  All loot will be divided according to The Most Holy."

The old lady walked up and hit him over the head. "Those 'Yeti northlands'? Those are ours. Keeper property."

Keleth chuckled at the old lady.  “I doubt even your stubbornness would be able to oust the yeti tribes from their mountains.  If we can, then the lands and hunting grounds are ours for the taking.”  To Dusk, he said, “Yes, a regiment of super lifeless would help tremendously, however, the largest need we have is recourses such as food.  If you can get it through the yeti blockade, it would be much appreciated.”

"Those are the Goldhaven Mountains. You enter them you are entering our territory. We let the yeti's live there." She tapped speed, appearing behind him. "If we wanted to, they would be gone."

"Now, I am slightly confused. I do not have very much food to spare, but I will provide a regiment of Superlifless to help in your protection. I can also call a friend of mine, name of Silva Rey, to assist in person," Dusk said, "I will need some form of reimbursement. It dose not have to be significant, just enough that I profit form this arrangement. Perhaps a 1% interest in Fortress Eternals economy?"
