PoV's

Just curious who your favourite Point of View is in the book, and who you'd want to see next? Not your favourite character btw,

For myself, Dalinar is my favourite PoV. I'd say he gives the best glimpses at the world-building from a higher echelon of society. (Or highest, as the case may be.) He also happens to be my favourite character, but his nahn/command position, his oversight, and accessibility to Navani (fabrial tech) generally interest me the most. While I don't particularly enjoy reading about Shallan I do find some interest in Veil's "night life" PoV as well. I like the grit as much as the ivory tower. Be curious to see a street-level PoV that isn't in her eccentric voice.

For the next PoV I want? Tough call. Rlain is certainly up there, the Listeners have me piqued. Their story, abandoning their gods knowing they are damning themselves to drowsyform has me captured. I was also kind of, well, it hit me a lot more than I'd have guessed when I read how they were trying to find artform. There's a deep-seated sorrow in there, soul deep.

That being said, a Nightblood PoV while being a bit rudimentary would also provide a hilarious interlude IMHO. :D

You?

(PS: Merry Christmas for those Christmasly inclined.:) )

I always enjoy Adolin's POVs. He may not be the most educated of the main POV characters but he's usually fairly insightful.

I'd love to see a Syl POV. Not necessarily as a regular thing, but she has unique insight on Kaladin and I'd love to see how she sees everyone else

Kaladin, which of course is influenced by the fact that he's my favorite. Wouldn't be if I didn't enjoy his chapters, would he?

From what we got so far, I enjoy Adolin, Lift, Renarin and Jasnah a lot.

Also, Axies and Ishikk. I love their interludes. (In hindsight, at least. I'm always annoyed at interludes while they happen because I want to get on with the story.)
I guess ... yeah, I'd love to get more Rlain POV as well.

Definitely Venli. Give me all the Venli. I could read an entire book with just Venli PoV.

okay, not really, but you get the point

Next up would have to be Adolin and Kaladin. Adolin because I really like his character and I want to see his relationship with Maya grow more. Kaladin because he’s storming Kaladin. Then Rysn (I know she’ll probably just stay as an interlude character for now, but I’m dying for her to become slightly more important in the future). I’d love to get some Malata PoV, just to see her side of things. I really love seeing things from the perspective of the ‘enemies,’ and Malata seems insteresting even if she wasn’t an ‘enemy.’ Oh, can’t forget about Rlain. I so want to see him helping the Listeners who escaped being turned into stormform and have escaped to the other side of the Shattered Plains. I could totally see him and Venli working to unite those Listeners and any Singers Venli manages to turn into one huge Singer/Listener/whatever their species is called force against Odium, and then the two of them showing up in the final battle to save Dalinar and co.

She has me a bit curious, but where my interest (in her PoV) really lies is not her, but her spren.

On a complete tangent everyone should probably ignore I have now decided that we need a blue Surgebinder named Bob with a spren called Glitch. >.> <.<

I agree with @Toaster Retribution that a Mraize POV would be awesome, but I would like a POV chapter from Thaidikar even more. The type where we would get glimpses of the ghostblood's larger plans and would be given cryptic hints at Thaidikar's identity, vague yet compelling fodder for speculative theories.

I would also really like an Ishar interlude POV. His Spanreed communique to Dalinar in OB was awesome, he's the self-proclaimed god king of Roshar, Nale (and his Skybreakers by extension) still takes marching orders from him and he's the freaking fallen Herald of the bondsmiths. That would be an amazing interlude.

An Arclo interlude, or a POV from a different Sleepless would be great.

A POV from a minor character either visiting the Nightwatcher or shedding some light on what's going on in Rall Elorum would be great too.

A Mrall POV would be good, or maybe even an Adrotagia PoV, as long as we learn more about the diagram and possibly get definitive hints that Mrall is the world hopping Kandra.

An Elhokar POV would have been interesting as well. Shame that we wont be getting it.

It could still happen. Sanderson did say he can still put flashbacks of dead people (Eshohai's flashbacks will be given despite her being dead)

Any spren POV would be cool. I'd love to see what they think of people. Maybe a POV of a spren bonding a KR?

Well, you’re in luck!

I'd very much like a story, even a short one, from the point of view of a spren.

Specifically a spren that is bound to a surgebinder. Syl, Glys, Pattern, etc. I'd like to see how they go from Shadesmar to crossing over and losing their thought, to slowly regaining it and forming a bond in more than one way with their surgebinder.

Brandon Sanderson

This is a matter of when, not if--but you might have to wait a few books.

(This was from before OB, so we could theoretically be getting that in book 5)

I know it was a one shot deal, but I really loved the Aimia expedition.

From our main characters I enjoy Kaladin the most (I relate to him and his depression issues the most), but if I was given the opportunity to silently follow Jasnah and carry her books for her wherever she went, I would happily do so.

I might need help explaining my new job to my wife, however.
