+Ark1002 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Drako smiled, leaping towards the man, hands flaming from oil. His hands slammed into the electrified ones, and fire, oil, and sparks flew everywhere. He could eel his bones leeching the electricity. His hair was burning, but he didn't care. "I'm gonna kill you for this."
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) Thundershriek felt the electricity flowing out of his body. The man should be fried, but he looked just as lively as ever, even with his flaming hair. "The feeling's mutual buddy!" Thundershriek yelled as he felt his hands burning from the fire. With their hands clasped as they were, struggling for advantage, Thundershriek flew upwards rapidly. The man may be resistant to electricity, but the air was his domain as well. @Ark1002 Edited December 21, 2018 by Karnatheon
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Nekorb felt the withering power of the Shade enter him and get deflected by the wall. He heard the shade growl in frustration, then throw itself at him. Nekorb yelped, then fell down, desperately trying to fend off attacks from the shade. He was immune to the withering effect, but this shade was corporeal. It had other ways to kill. Quote Itiah, what happens if the enraged shade sheds blood?
I think I am here. he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote It tries not to, preferring the withering to kill, but if it does, then agonising pain.
+Ark1002 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Drako shouted, in the air. He ripped one hand free, and slammed it into the man's chest, trying to get a grip in his flesh. I WILL GET REVENGE.
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Thundershriek flew upward at frightening speeds. He felt the thug rip his hand free of his own, and felt the sharp impact of the man's bone strengthened punch hit him in the chest. The wind was momentarily knocked out of him, and his grip loosened. Looking down, he realized how high up the were. He looked at the man, then punched him in the face, while simultaneously shoving him in the chest, in an attempt to throw the man away, and let him fall to the ground far below. As his fist made impact(?) he felt his bones crunch as they met an impenetrable obstacle, the thug's skull. Shrieking in pain, he tried to push the man away with even more force, putting all his strength into loosing the man's grasp on his own chest.
+Ark1002 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Drako felt himself slip. He attempted to claw the man's arm, stay up. He failed. He knew what would happen. So he used his last act to scratch as hard as he could on the man's leg. He fell into the wreckage of a motorbike, and he didn't get up. He burned.
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Thundershriek felt the claws dig into his flesh, rendering his leg inoperable. He let out a yell of rage, and blasted the remaining electricity he had stolen from the building into the man as he landed, adding to the fire, and blasting a hole deep into the surface. Letting the pain finally overcome him, he flew toward the ground as fast as he could, and felt himself black out right before he reached the ground, hopefully landing on something softer than the concrete.
+Ark1002 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 The last three survivors ran, quickly. They disappeared, and didn't plan on coming back anytime soon. Quote Congratulations! You defeated the Bonefists!
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Yay! Thanks for the RP, Ark. Doesn't look like Hellbent will be showing up at any point to take Laonin out now, so hopefully you were able to get it out of your system with this.
+Ark1002 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Yep. Both Hellbent's are dead, in a way, so... this was really fun! If you ever need a villain again, I'm open!
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Quote I agree, it was a blast. I'll keep you in mind!
The Grumpy Elantrian he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Well that was fun. And now Ishek has a bit more respect for Laonin, although he had already developed quite a bit of respect for the man already.
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Well I'm glad to hear that. Sorry it all kind of got sped through. A lot of us just happened to be active at the same time, so things just kind of progressed very rapidly. Sorry for everyone that got left behind there. Once Laonin wakes up, and recovers, he'll definitely do some explaining. He will need to be restored to Laonin first though, which would probably be best while he was unconscious so Thundershriek doesn't fight back.
The Grumpy Elantrian he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Ishek looked upon the battle occuring in the air, two incredibly powerful beings battling for the upperhand. Then Drako fell, and from the flames and lightning he did not rise. Moments later, Thundershriek raced to reach the ground, then mere metres from his goal, fell unconcious. Ishek rushed over to the broken form on the ground and didn't hesitate. He saw how powerful that creature was, and he heard the fear in Laonin's voice when he warned of Thundershriek not giving up the power. So he took the stamp Laonin had shown earlier from a pocket on Thundershrieks clothing and pressed the head against him, willing it to work. The form slowly returned to Laonin, glowing brilliantly in the process. Now that that was done, Ishek called for Aeodin to bring a healing Aon.
I think I am here. he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 As the Shade attacked, it’s anger began to fade, until it transformed back to Alask. No one had broken the rules in a while, and so it was back to its mood of sustained boredom. Scratching his head, he looked to Nekorb. “Sorry for trying to reduce you to a skeleton,” he said. “Please don’t tell Laonin.” Though in all honesty, they’d probably already seen him. Standing up, Alask began to walk to the Forge, only slightly limping.
+Sorana she/her Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote *realizes she has to read through all these pages to update her summary* I'm not sure if I can get that done before christmas, sry...
ShardBreaker he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) Veil peeked out from his alleyway, and didn't see any monks, so he assumed the fight was over. Forcing himself to his feet, Veil stumbled over to where Ishek was standing, looking down at Laonin. Poor man, the toll that must have taken on his body. Might as well stand here until Aeodin arrived. Some of his injuries were pretty bad. Not that he could feel them though, which brought up another problem. Veil sighed. He was a mess. The Grumpy Elantrian he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Sorry but Ishek doesn't have any aons, he is tending to Laonin and called for Aeodin to bring him an Aon. @ShardBreaker
ShardBreaker he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Don't worrry, I changed it. @The Grumpy Elantrian
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Nekorb watched in astonishment as the Shade transformed back into Alask. “Sorry for trying to reduce you to a skeleton,” he said. “Please don’t tell Laonin.” Nekorb stared open mouthed at Alask as he walked away. He snapped out of his astonishment and scrambled to his feet. "Wait! What- Why- How?"
I think I am here. he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 As Alask walked, he turned back to Nekorb, who seemed more curious than anything. Shadows. The curious ones were always the worst. "It's a Shade," he simply said, continuing to walk. "That's inside of me." He stayed silent for the rest of the trip back to the Forge, where he greeted Ishek and the newcomer.
Karnatheon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 Quote Basically, a group of homeless people was kidnapped, so we started to figure out a way to find them. Veil(@shardbreaker) and Amon(@steel inquisitive) showed up amidst preparations, willing to help. Laonin Forged a building to no longer be destroyed, and to be covered in bright neon lights so it glowed brightly. Then he used an Essence stamp to revert back to an Epic, Thundershriek, who he had been originally. Then he, Ishek, Aeodin, Veil, Alask, and Nekorb, fought the Bonefist gang. A group of Dakhor Monks. They managed to take them all out except for a few survivors who ran, and are now recovering from their wounds the best they can. Also Alask transformed into the Shade, when everyone could see, and failed to kill Nekorb. That's a brief summary, feel free to use it, or write your own when you have the time. @Sorana 1
+Sorana she/her Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 49 minutes ago, Karnatheon said: @Sorana Quote Oh wow thanks. I'll definitly use it.
Vargo Seldon he/him Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Aeodin sat down on a piece of rubble exhausted. The Aons on his fingers hadn't worked well, but his sword had performed admirably. He let his sword drop, and it puffed away into nothingness. Most of the rings on his fingers were scorched. He got up again as both Veil and Ishek called for Aons. He stood over Laonin and drew Aon Ien over him. He added a lot of modifiers to pinpoint where to heal, and the Aon flashed, restoring Laonin. He then walked over to Veil and began drawing.
