Bean wakes up. Ruin decks him for stealing his investiture then leaves. Bean looks around. Only Stick and him are awake. Vin, Kelsier, Szeth, And Nightblood are all lying around. Bean sighs. If only he had as fortunate a fate as Shard of Thought.

Shard of Thought cries, but lets him go back. She goes with him, determined to keep him safe.

Bean sees him and decks Marsh

Marsh picks up Stick and decks Bean.

Shard of Thought rushes Ruin before he can even Think about touching Marsh and slams him to the ground decking him repeatedly.

Shard of Thought isn't worried for Marsh because he's fullborn and can take a hit. Marsh gets up and slams Bean. Shard of Thought smiles smugly. Bean really Thought he could take Marsh down...

Bean magically turns into Galavian and decks Marsh while blocking the hit with white steel.

Shard of Thought easily takes him over and confuses him with projections.

Galavian once was a genius but has had brain damage, therefore immune to telepathy. He lashes Marsh up.

Shard of Thought cries out, jumping up and kicking Galavian hard in the face before flying upward toward Marsh, willing herself to his location and holding him tight.

White steel grows and grabs on to Shard of Thought’s foot. Galavian lashes himself backward and begins to slash at Shard of Thought with swords

Shard of Thought dematerializes, turning the swords into petals and twists away, desperately trying to get to her love!

Galavian curses and lashes himself after her, spraying with bullets

Shard of Thought dodges the projectiles, then tugs on Preservation's mind gently, suggesting that he Pull Marsh back down. Galavian does not realize that it's Preservation doing the Pulling.

Galavian pauses and takes careful aim with his right arm. He aims, then fires a missle at 500mph straight at Shard of Thought. He aimed correctly this time.

Shard of Thought quickly puts up a forcefield but is damaged a bit. She falters and begins to fall back to the ground.

Galavian dismisses the missle system into white steel and lashes himself at Shard of Thought.

Marsh’s stormlight runs out and he begins to fall down from 5000 feet 

[Zephrun’s Imperium they/he]

Shard of Thought uses Perception (it's a thing now. Go with it) to make Galavian Lash the wrong thing. She zooms toward Marsh, catching him in her arms and flying away from Galavian who is now plummeting toward the ground.

Galavian notices and stops the lashings. White steel begins to spark gunpowder beneath him to slow his fall. When he hits the ground, his gunpowder veins are significantly depleated. He pours a horn of gunpowder on his forearm and watches as the veins grow back on white steel. He relaxed and sprays bullets at Shard of Thought.

Shard of Thought growls, using a forcefield to deflect the bullets back at him.
