I think you underestimate how fast I can move a sword. I've never met someone who can dart in that fast without also having to block the sword from coming back in fast enough.

*gets smacked while extolling the speed of swords.*

True. Fortunately, which I forgot to point out, I have another tambo to guard.

Now that would work!

The question now is whether or not the backstroke of the sword still blows through your guard and hits you even though I got hit in the head. Cause swords are fast, but well made ones like Nightblood are also incredibly hard hitting. cause while Nightblood, being a shardblade weighs only about 3 lbs. (and a regular greatsword would come in at about 6) it's got most of my body weight accelerating along the tip towards that tambo. And the sheath will make it so that it's less likely to bounce rather than dent.

Spoiler

I like swords. They're fun

Fortunately, rattan tambos are rather durable. It'll hurt, but I have it braced on my forearm so its impact is spread out over my arm bone.

*having been smacked in the head and blocked, I will be a tad dazed, and so will take a large round step back and do a full sweep around with the blade, using standard greatsword sweeping arcs to keep you at bay while I gather my senses again*

*I drop and slide in under one of the arcs, kicking toward your front knee while hooking my other foot behind that ankle and pulling it*

Actually, no. I have a low and forward kip-up that I can finish faster than you can swing a large bulky sword all the way around again.

*surrenders* OK you win.

However, greatswords are nimble and lithe.

This is someone using some of the heavier greatswords out there. Each at least 2 times the weight of Nightblood. He is new, and practicing. I have been doing it for 4 years now, and it is really fun, because everyone, everyone, assumed they are slower than other swords, when in reality, they are barely slower than most longswords.

Spoiler

Just so you know, I'm not saying you are wrong, so much as, "Hey look! This is a really cool thing most people don't know!"
We definitely should try out that Tambo vs Greatsword spar if/when we meet.

This is true

We really have no way of comparing speed and skill 'til we meet

I'm def bringing my tambos to DSNX whenever I can go (just cause I can)

What would you call an unmade Unmade that just got unmade after being unmade?

What?

I would say an Unreunreunreunmade, but maybe it's just an Ununununmade?

I believe that it would not have a name, because it would be unmade and never remade, soooo.

An anti-made

Perhaps, but I also agree with Time.
