The temp here today is 5 °C (41 °F) with a high of 11 °C (52 °F). It is supposed to rain from this afternoon to 7am tomorrow. April showers bring May flowers. I hope at least…

Wow, very detailed

I'd just say it's 5 with a high of 12, but you're American. And you use Fahrenheit. Which makes no sense.

WHY DOES WATER FREEZE AT 32 AND BOIL AT 212!!!

Just have it freeze at 0 and boil at 100

WHY ARE THERE 14 POUNDS IN A STONE?

Just have 1000 grams to a kilogram

WHY ARE THERE 5280 FEET IN A MILE?

Just have 1000 metres in a kilometre

It ain't that hard.

Sorry. I don't like the American Imperial system.

Also, did you know that the British invented it?

And now you are the only ones using it. (Not including Liberia (which you colonized) and Myanmar (which is a military junta)

Oh yeah. America is bonkers. It uses English (absolute INSANITY), Imperial system, farienhight, ect.

I am an american, but like... I will allways use my feet to measure things, but my feet are messed up.

As an American the imperial scale is so stupid

we got crem like a furlong per fortnight (about equivalent to centimeter per minute)

I’m pretty sure that we use seeds too

I’d use imperial, but moving most things over is a tad difficult.

I found a worse one

Standardised Giraffe Unit (animal size)

Animal SGU Units
Corgi 0.05
Canada Goose 0.14
Duck 0.2
Penguin 0.2
Half a giraffe 0.5
Peacock 0.55
Elephant 1.25

The standardised giraffe unit (SGU) is proposed by the European Space Agency's Near-Earth Object Coordination Centre as a standardised unit for animal size reference.[69] The agency defines the SGU in terms of other animals as shown in the adjoining table.

this is used to measure animal sizes

Hehehe

Inches, feet, yards, miles

You would think it would be something rational - like, no jump more than 50

BUT NO

YARDS TO MILES

1760

WHY?

Apparently Americans like things divisible by 3
