I wanna clear the 40000 words, which is the dividing line, around 100 pages. Hopefully I get a bit more than that.

Yeah, 66,795. It was gonna be part of a series, and that was gonna be the first book. But it just wasn't doing it for me, so... yeah.

I think the most I’ve written is a 13000 word short story, which I did finish!

Called Nasriel, I submitted it to L Ron Hubbard Art and Writing expecting what I received -  a no.

 

sad.

But I expected the no bc that competition is very very worldwide, lots and lots of people participate, and it is not really a “you! young student!” Competition and more, “you! Thou who doth be middle aged!”

My longest work to date is around 38,000 words, and only around a quarter done. I'm aiming for 150-200k.
