main plot The Great Game

"Alleycity! Two hours!" One fonts navigators said.

"Burger King! 30 seconds!" Another said.

Everyone stopped for a bite to eat.

"Just follow me," KoTiel told Althea. Quickly they walked into the nearest alley. "Now, if I remember the books correctly, we'd have to move this way..." KoTiel mumbled. Walking through the alley, they saw shadowy figures in the windows. The guards. It seemed that they'd been successful in entering the alleys. Moving at the light ahead, they stepped out of the alley, only to find a massive battle going on near the tower.

Althea followed Ko Tiel through the alley and curiously looked around. When they stepped out of it she stared at the scene in disbelieve.
"Oh wow. And we were gone for an hour?"
She looked at those fighting each other, tried to understand which of them belonged to her. The machinery they were using didn't make it easier. Instinctively she ducked when a bomb hit somewhere close by and then looked over at Ko Tiel.
"Do you know which ones belong to us?"

KoTiel tilted their head. "Huh, no clue. I'd say we wait till we get orders, and until then, try not to get killed." "Well," they followed, "it isn't as if I could actually do anything against those things, so..."

Althea nodded. If she knew how these things worked, maybe she could soulcast some vital parts to stone. But at the moment her best guess would be some wheels. And she wasn't really sure how usefull that would be.
"We could go and look for a more protected place? Standing out in the open maybe isn't the best idea right now."

"True." KoTiel thought for a bit. "I'm not sure where though. The only protected place is the tower, and it's currently being attacked. On the other hand, we might be able to get some information there."

"I can always take us to Shadesmar, should the need arise. But I think you are right, the tower is our best chance to get some information what's going on."

Hellbent still rode his motorcycle.

"I will win this fight, and he will pay!"

Summary: There was a scouting mission, Hellbent nearly got trapped, Hellbent escaped, we attempted to attack the Fiend, we are now chasing the Fiend towards the Alleycity.

To put this in perspective, a normal denizen should be able to go toe to toe with an era two character. Guards are stronger than that, and one couldn't just go up and fight them.

Tena, now standing in the middle of the nearly empty field, talked into a comms system attached to her ear. 

"Are y'all here yet? Because seriously, you know how it is..."

A voice on the other line answered: "...Nothing beats a squad of Zosans, three skywhales, and a bunch of artillery. Nothing." 

"Precisedly. How close are you?" 

"These gorramed dercons won't move any faster. Wish we could engage right now, but we can't." 

A large, majestic dercon suddenly landed next to Tena. The soldier who'd been riding it slid off the beast's back with a woozy look, then snapped to attention. "The skywhales are nearly here, and the artillery is ready." 

"Good." 

Tena watched the horizon as three massive, bulky forms flew across the sky steadily. The mounted aluminum machine guns and aluminum artillery were attended by red-haired, orange-eyed folk whose experience in battle was extensive. The skywhales, additionally, had a high concentration of aluminum in their skin, so Investiture could do them no harm. The veritable fleet of dercons surrounding them would cause much damage.

"Let the battle begin," Tena said.

KoTiel nodded. "In that case, lets go." With those words, they started running towards the tower.

Definition of massive: Destroys 15 kilometers upon impact.

The Fiend started spraying class 4 bombs at the ground behind and to the sides of it to slow down it's opponents. It's hold was to full to make more walkers.

To recap my numbers: The hold of the Fiend is full of all different kinds of my walkers, and by the time I reach the Alleycity, I will have 27 regiments of 200 super lifeless. The fiend also has full missile amo.

I'm editing my post about attacking the DA base, because that was build up to a post Great Game guild that Ark and I are making, and that is declaring war on the DA. Which is an incredibly bad idea. Like a really bad idea. Really bad.

Althea started running after Ko Tiel and tried to keep an eye out for a potential threat. She was slower than him, even with stormlight to power her.

This isn't head the tower. I sent a bomb with a fifteen kilometer radius and than ran at 120 kilometers per hour at Alleycity. Does no one read my long and mildly pointless posts? Also, how would the True Alley respond to the permanent loss of hellbent? Just wondering. We would immediately begin piece negotiations if we lost Dusk, unless we had a clear shot at hellbent.

I think @kenod  and I obviously got that wrong, and yes I do read your posts. But it can be hard to keep track of what's happening if you read through tons of posts in the morning. So sorry for that.

What would happen if we lost Hellbent: depends on the situation. Negotiations are definitly possible.
