Hi everybody!

I've been reading some parts of this forum for a while now (just some parts because I'm trying to stay away from spoilers) and I've decided to sign up , so I don't feel like a stalker.

So I´ll present myself: I'm a psychology student who dreams of becoming a writer someday (yay originality!). I like movies, TV series, making people want to tear off their own ears when I play violin, and of course, I love reading.

Since I'm quite shy I probably won't participate much (but know that I'm here, always observing, muahahaha). Anyway, than you for taking the time to read this.

Another thing: since English is not my first language, please forgive any mistake I might make, now or in the future, and feel free to correct me.

I hope you have a nice day.

Hello and welcome to the shard!

Which is your favourite book of Brandon so far?

And don't worry about the language. There are a lot of non-native speakers around.

Hello Sorana. Thank you!

My favourite used to be MIstborn first trilogy, but I've read The way of kings this summer, and The Stormlight Archive has taken the first place (sorry Kelsier, I still love you though). I can't wait to read the second book, but I don't want to run out of Stormlight books ... To be honest, I don't think I will resist for more than a couple of months or so.

Which one is yours?

For now I have read Elantris, first Mistborn trilogy, Alloy of Law (if the rest of the trilogy is like this book, I think it would be an amazing tv series), and The Way of Kings. And right now I'm reading Warbreaker.

That's a difficult question.

I loved The emperor's Soul, although it's a novella and (sadly) no full book. So if that counts, it's this one.

Elantris will always be special to me, as it was the first book of him I read.

I know the feeling to run out of his books. Thankfully Legion pt 3 is lurking around a corner and Skyward also hits the market this year. So that's two books to look forward to :)

Are you interessted in role-playing games? If yes, you could take a look at the Alleyverse down in the social section of this forum. It's a free form role play, combining all different settings of Brandon's books.

Well, I guess the bright side of not having read a lot of Sanderson's books yet, is that I still have many to read :D

I've always been curious about RP, but never actually played. I'll take a look, thanks for telling me.

If you have any questions just ask ;)

Welcome! We’re glad to have you here on the Shard. Who’s your favorite Sanderson character?

Hello Rebecca, thank you!

Uff, it's hard to choose only one, so if you don't mind I'm going to say a few: Kelsier, Wayne, Kaladin, Dalinar, Jasnah... not necessary in that order. There are more, though...

What's yours?

Mine? Oh, that’s a hard one. Maybe Kaladin. Or Lightsong. I love all the comic relief characters.

Hey, welcome! Those Internet packets have been traveling a long way to get to our servers, they must be tired, send them some company :)

I'd expect a proper lurker like yourself to know everything about all of us by now (in which case, please don't tell anyone about all the socks on my floor), but I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Coppermind (our wiki) and Arcanum (our WoB archive), links to both of which you can find in the bar up top. You know, in case you somehow missed them.

Argent has blessed your introduction thread. That means it is a shiny thread. You should use your master sphere to make sure it doesn't get away.
