Can someone kindly explain the deal with the cookies? Still new here and haven't been able to figure it out!

The Dark Alley gives away cookies with spikes in them. Hemalurgic spikes that they can use in their experiments after they snag your soul and, um, pass through afterwards. 

The Underground Bakery Association doesn't like this. They warn people of their impending doom, and offer alternatives like non-hemalurgic cookies.

An alternative opinion, some very nice people in the forum like to hand out free cookies that sometimes give you superpowers. Why people insist on painting these people as the bad guys I'll never know.

No it's not, usually just edit the post to something like 'ignore this post' if you want it gone and people will usually understand
