Star shrugged. "When they started Fallen: Reborn, I suppose."

Xino sighed but let it slide.

Marsh stared at Star with hate.

Star looked him right in the eyespikes. She felt terrible for what she had done. Thought had taken her mind and she hadn't been herself. And now, because of her, Marsh was like this. She believed she could heal him, though. Heal him, and fix this.

But the serum had twisted him too much. Their children were missing, but Star didn’t know that.

Star approached the Inquisitor.

Are we still gonna have this part be serious?

Yes. I need to fix this.

But afterwards, we can go back. Everything will be normal.

Xino shrugged. "Hopefully, yes."

Marsh hissed, and drew out a sword.

He thrust it towards Star.

Marsh smiled, eyeing the scar on her throat.

The sword ran her through, but due to her nature as a Narrator, Star was unphased. She put a hand on Marsh's chest and drew the serum out of him, willing it to happen.

Xino willed it not to happen. "Not getting out of it that easily, Star. Don't abuse your power."

Star glared at her fellow Narrator. "Fine," she said. She disappeared and went to go get her Shard back. Her Shard. Not Thought's not Tamika's. Her's.

Unfortunately for her, Calamity was nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, Marsh was murdering puppies.

Star raced back to Marsh and caged the poor thing. He would forgive her in time, but right now... She didn't want him doing anything more than he had already done. 

"Calamity!" Star yelled at the sky. "I have a proposal!"

Marsh ripped the door off the cage and ran off while Star was distracted.

Inside his head was a mess of conflicting emotions. He didn't even know what to do anymore, especially when he was around her.

Star sat. She waited. Calamity didn't ever respond. Storm it, she thought. I don't need a Shard. I need Marsh.
