I agree! It's a really cool idea- just not very feasible.

The closest we've gotten to something like that is Bat's ability to push on Nullite- but that's also based on his perception of himself and how the Nullite in his body reacts to Narration.

I mean, if it doesn’t work, he could do smt very similar, except he doesn’t use the Nullite storage case as a body, just as a backup.

@Through The Living Glass

very fine

The only problem with Bat's is that he's still able to be Narrated- so it still wouldn't work.

How are the particles passing through the fields?

Ah, see, that's much more likely. Inefficient in an actual sense, but it works for TLT I suppose :P

He’s kinda just lobbing them through.

"Yes," Taeinid replied, whimpering.

Alright, that also works . . . I guess. Hehe. :P

Is there any kind of signal passing through the field?

Those particles are carrying information encoded between them - and the protected particles would’nt (WOW GRAMMAR) take info from outside except for when peoples like Drin (a Narrator) supervise a memory backup

Consequently, it would constantly send out particles to replenish in case of emergency.

That does leave him vulnerable to mind control… but I don’t think that’ll be too much of a problem.

Taeinid crouched on the ground and began whispering to himself.

"It's not real, it's not real, it's not real."

“Of course we know—“ the man snapped, but the girl stepped in front of him and held up her hand pleadingly. He sighed and let her speak.

“I’m Lisa. This is my father.”

“Now we’re getting somewhere. Where do you come from?”

You've gone through this well. Everything works- I don't really see any problems with any of this.

So congrats :D

May I offer a suggestion though?

How tiny is he?

Utility bent down to pick him up if he was small enough.

"It's not real, you're right."

but Bat isn’t surrounded by Nullite.

missed this, ig.

Explain that?

His teleportation is… different.

He doesn’t teleport, he literally just goes at hyperspace speed while his particles are small enough to slip between atoms.

Afterimage is slightly confused.

Nah, it’d work - Nullite doesn’t cancel pure science!

And if that science is affected by some other things , oh well.

Did you read my other explanations?

I did read some. It just really seems like it doesn’t make sense. I guess if you’re willing to make it a bit difficult to keep in balance and unstable, that would make more sense to me.

That’s mostly because of the way his body is able to interact with the Nullite. It doesn’t really apply to him.

Ya

You don't have to send particles with information. You can use normal signals with light. :)

We don't have previous evidence that implies Nullite fields block light.

It just seems cleaner, is all.

Is Utility normal-sized?

Keyword most.

Oh

Ok

So

That would work…

Yeah I posted it up above

Refresh your page :P

Mmhmm

Depends - thinking of Nullite like matter, (and it’s cancellation like heat, or some other energy) it’s area of effect is not directly proportional to mass - rather, it increase faster with more mass - so a star’s size of Nullite would cancel an entire solar system, even though that is proportionally much more than the usual influence - so the smaller size would have unusually small influences.

Also, I came, I saw, I edited.

Alright :P

You said he shrunk himself so I assumed he was pretty tiny :P

Since that was apparently not an option, he created a small cave for him to hide in.

I think of it similarly- though I will say I meant Nullite fields in the post and not straight-up Nullite matter.

Light is able to pass through the Nullifying field, but not the Nullite itself, so radio-visible-gamma ray signals would be fine.

Oo, wait, that's another thing. How is the information being carried on the particles you're lobbing through the fields?

(Nullite fields in the post? Which post? Also, confuzzlization.)
I think of it as the function being ingrained in the structure of the particle.
